Denny Wiggers Garden Center

I have been going to Denny Wiggers now for 12 years and I usually go there with my SUV and pick up a cord of seasoned firewood. Every time that I visit I am always greeted by someone and they help me load up.Unfortunately in October I had back surgery and decided to have the firewood delivered. I should have done this 12 years ago! The wood was stacked neatly as if I had it done it myself only BETTER!!! What a relief and all I had to do was lift up the phone. Pros: Fast and Efficient more

I have been ripped off. Do not recommend Denny Wiggers. Hidden service change, less than a cord, ridiculously odd sized mismatched wood and it was so green it felt like iron. The stuff would hardly burn it was so wet. I called and complained and Denny or whoever said he would remedy the situation in a few days, but it never happened. more

After reading the many negative reviews about Denny Wiggers Gardens and their firewood, I felt I should be obligated to share my horrible experience with Denny Wiggers Gardens in Paramus New Jersey. I ordered online for firewood in bergen county nj where I live, and paid extra for the stacking of the firewood. Beginning of the disaster, I asked for the firewood to be delivered while I was home at a certain time of the day. The person did not arrive at the scheduled time, the delivery truck left lots of mud and oil all over my driveway, the firewood was NOT stacked but instead dumped all over my backyard, did NOT include the free kindling, the firewood itself was not seasoned and had mildew all over the firewood. Good luck trying to get Denny Wiggers Gardens to clean up their muddy, oil mess, bring you firewood that is actually seasoned and not molded. I won't be buying firewood or anything else ever again from Denny Wiggers Gardens. more

Usually I don't search online for something as firewood but decided this time I would search for a firewood supplier that offers firewood in new york city and has a delivery service. I searched on google for new york city firewood delivery service and came across denny wiggers firewood. The website says they offer free firewood delivery to new york city, free kindkling and next day delivery. Well things are not as they always seam and promise. I ordered for next day delivery and did not receive the next day, I called multiple times and finally a week later they delivered the firewood. The wood itself was a mixture of molded and green and cut in odd shapes. I couldn't get a good fire going since the wood was so green and the firewood was not seasoned. Further they did not bring the free kindling and I discovered on my credit card they charged me $25 for the delivery service which was suppose to be free according to their website. I called many times to report the molded green wood, no kindling and I was charged a delivery fee. Each time they tell me the owner Denny Wiggers will be calling me to straighten up the issues. Well that hasn't happened. I would NOT recommend this company, don't buy from denny wiggers firewood company. more

Two years ago I hired Denny Wiggers of Denny Wiggers Landscaping and Garden Center in Paramus, NJ to put up a retaining wall for my home. The retaining wall collapsed and I have been fighting with Denny Wiggers and his company Denny Wiggers Landscape Design in Bergen County New Jersey ever since to get the retaining wall fixed. Without a dbout in my mind...court action will be the next step since Denny Wiggers refuses to fix the collapsed retaining wall.
