I have gone here for a while now and after consistently having great experiences I thought I'd come on here and sing their praises. So here it goes...Incredible customer service, they know how to treat and deal with people. Incredible work, they are thorough and prompt. I've taken my car here twice, and both times received quality repairs that were done very fast and at less cost than other shops I got quotes from. The mechanics here are also honest, which I appreciate--I took my car here for a second opinion when another shop had told me I needed to completely replace both sets of brakes. The mechanics at Dennis Road Automotive told me that only the front brakes needed replacing, but that I also had a while before that needed to happen (1,000 miles). They clearly do not take peoples' money for repairs that don't need to happen, unlike a lot of other shops. I ended up getting them replaced here because I appreciated that honesty. Hard to find in a mechanic shop. more

And not only that, they diagnosed other problems I was unaware of and offered suggestions to solve. Their prices were very budget friendly. These people are in charge of my cars. My car is too big an investment to just let anyone mess around under the hood! I have been going into their shop for about 4 years now. The shop is clean. The floors are clean. Martha Stewart may not have decorated their waiting area, but I don't go there to get decorating tips. These people fix my car. They charge me a fair price and they say funny things while I am in the office paying my bill. I have started getting the oil changed there too. more

My Dad was taking his car here when Royal Lane was North Dallas. I have been in and out of this shop with my cars, my kids' cars, my wife's car, and referred them to many of my friends. Many of my single women friends go back because Chris always tells them the truth, doesn't overcharge, and does what he says is going to do. more

I met the owner. She is often around. I asked her about honesty and auto shops once. She said, ""We have one simple motto: Can I go to bed and sleep at night after the work I did? If the answer is yes, then I did my job right."" That sums them up pretty darn well. They do the work like it's their own car in the driveway. Great job guys! Keep it up! more

James and Kevin are awesome. I have sent many friends to Dennis Road over the years, and they are always pleased with the fair prices. Kevin is very nice and knowledgeable about cars. They have always treated me fairly and done the work right the first time. more

Have taken my cars to Dennis Road Automotive for many, many years... Rosie, James and Kevin have taken excellent care of all my cars and made sure this grandma always has a safe, reliable, good running vehicle... They have always taken good care of my cars, and are very, very honest about work that should be done for safety or reliability reasons... but more importantly, they go out of their way to let me know when something really does not need to be done, or when it is simply a ""when there's time and money, consider getting it done""... Few years ago, another auto shop gave me a ""urgent, list of repairs that my car needed done right away,"" that was going to run me almost $3600. After catching my breathe, I had James and Kevin check the car out thoroughly... out of maybe 15+ issues, only five were recommended being done as soon as possible... another five or six would be good to get done whenever I had some extra cash to spend... the other items were not even necessary... and furthermore the entire ""hitlist"" was only about a third of what the other guys had quoted me... Bottom line, you could NOT find a better, more reliable, most honest shop to take your vehicles to... the Dennis Road gang will take care of you and your cars and keep you rolling safely done the highway for many, many years... more

I have tested this mechanic again and again. They always come out on top. After any major estimate, I always bring the vehicle and the estimate to my mechanic buddy (secretly), and ask if the repairs needed are legit. Every time I show it to my buddy, he says it is legit and fair... every time. Over the course of 7 years, I have tested them many times and they always come out honest, affordable and worth every cent. more

My car did not want to start normally which was strange....I took it in to this shop and they told me I needed a new starter. I looked for the started online (I figured it be cheaper) I was wrong. The starter was the wrong size :( I just took their advice from then on. My car works starts fin now, the shop was good and put up with a lot of my questioning. The work done on the car was good, and the price was even better. more
