Demario Bridal & Formal

DeMario Bridal has gone downhill fast. Most of their regular employees have left, leaving the salon and spa girls to do most of the work, and their seamstress is practically incompetent. When not butchering the tailoring and alterations, they are busy marking up the products much, much higher than competing businesses. Take my advice... stay far away from DeMario. more

First of all, I found this dress shop because I attended a bridal show at Roop's Mill which is on the same property. After the fashion show was done, me and a few other brides who attended walked over to DeMario excited to try on some dresses. more

I just went to demario bridal this past week and I was worried I wouldn't find anything on my budget or that I liked there, but I was very wrong. Becky understood I had a budget and listened to what I said and wanted or would like. She went and got and picked out like 10 dresses in my price range or a little over ( i was flexible with my price and she knew this ) and I wanted a light blue dress to match my husbands blue's and she brought different styles and different shades of blue that were beautiful and came up with good idea's with what i could do with each dress, and was just over all so nice and sweet and respectful to me and my mother. And she gave me a little bit of a discount due to my budget and for alterations cost I'm VERY HAPPY with going there that was the first place I went to and I'm glad i went there first. Highly recommend going here for wedding, braids maids, prom dresses and also had amazing shoes. more

I loved it and thought everything was going great. But she definitely does misquote prices or just rips you off or something! I ended up paying $200 more than what I was quoted for my veil! She also said that we got a discount on mothers and maids. My mom ordered her dress without me when she picked up my veil and paid full price for her dress. We go on Wednesday to look at maids dresses and for me to get measured...yikes because I've gained 5 pounds and don't want her to be mean for me being a chunk. Nice place and from other places I had been, priced very well. Definitely recommend but make sure you get paper copies of the actual prices you'll be paying! more

Judy at DeMario's Bridal is nothing but curtious! Not only is the dress selection fabulous but the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Also the convenience of the bridal store and the beauty salon on the same propery is a wonderful plus. I would 100 percent suggest any bride or bridal party to keep DeMario's on their list. more

The owner, Dawn, is wonderful, but her seamstress, is often rude, forgetful, and complains when she has to alter a dress for people are over overweight. She makes those of us who are overweight feel ashamed, because she's clearly inconvenienced by larger than average bodies, and she lets you know it. She also misquotes prices, and seems generally irritated much of the time. Customer service is we absolute weakness, which is a shame, since something as personal as alterations and fittings require a considerable amount of contact with the customer. DeMario Bridal is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went there with my sister who is getting married in Aug, 2009. We have been to 5 or 6 different shops to see the selection. Often we were met with people wanting all of our information and rushing us through the process. There was nothing personal about it, and most of the women who worked there seemed rigged. At DeMario, we were helped right away, allowed to try on dresses at our leisure, and she let my sister borrow the scarf of the dress she picked to make sure that the groomsmen match the bridesmaids perfectly since she and her fiance had already decided on tux's. I noticed that the comment says that there were not many dresses under $1500. The dress we chose was $180.00 and there were hundreds more in that price range. A girl was shopping for her prom dress and she chose a dress for a couple hundred as well. Her (I am assuming Dawn, the owner) entire attitude was absolutely wonderful. If you have not gone there, you are truly missing out! Pros: Best Bridal Shop in the State! Cons: What are the drawbacks? more
