NO Flowers Ruin Father's Day 6/22/2009

This following took place at the Deltona Memorial Cemtary, Saxon Blvd, Orange City. \r I ordered flowers to be delivered Saturday, June 20th to my Father's grave for Father's Day. Sunday afternoon my Mother calls, very upset. NO FLOWERS! I called the florist who informed me the flowers were delivered Saturday, as ordered. However, Cemetary Staff instructed the driver to leave the arrangement on the washing machine. Staff would place them.\r 12:40pm. I called the Cemetary, Cindy informed me of the new policy and staff must not have gotten to it yet. Cindy agreed to 'go look' for my flowers and would call me back. An hour later, I called her. The flowers had been found on the washer and were placed on the site. She aplogized. Said on Monday, Elisha would e-mail me a picture of the site with the flowers in place. I strongly suggested a change in policy, this was highly upsetting. \r Is Monday, June 23rd, no e-mail from Elisha. No phone call form the Administrator, Chris apologizing. Nothing. Just because I live out-of-state does not mean no one goes by to ensure proper placement, especially on special occasions. How many other flowers spent Father's Day sitting on the washer? Cons: NO Accountablity, No Resolution more

Cemetaries 11/28/2008

We buried our son here in 1994 and have been happy with the upkeep at the Cemetery. The death of a child is hard enough to deal with and I'm glad we don't have to deal with worrying about the cemetery in which placed our son. more

I have been to cemeteries that are not well cared for and this is Not one of them. I buried my son, Aaron in 1994 at Deltona Memorial Cemetary. I visit frequently and am very pleased that they take great care of the property even after 14 years. The grass is mowed and kept off of the markers. Bob McFall is a caring man that you can trust in a time that is difficult and hard to know what to do. more

When it's time.... 7/17/2008

When a loved one has passed away, the last thing that is on your mind is trying to make arrangements if they havent been made in advance.\r \r I have been to several funerals here and have had to deal with them personally. They are very caring and ensure that every detail is taken care of for you. more
