Delauters A 1 Service

Delaunters was incredibly friendly and courteous when I first contacted them gave me complete detailed information and expectations. However, they were less pleasant when I changed the date of my move, ( I understand, but I would have faked my reaction) however John agreed to the date and confirmed. I called them the morning of the move to confirm again and ensure credit cards were okay. Great all set, wrong, they got lost and blamed my information, slightly offensive. They have yet to arrive, but I am prayerful that they will still be professional and courteous to us. Hoping I can finish this review as positively as many of the clients did. I cannot stress how friendly he seemed and hope this is just a weird situation that frustrated us both into being less than our best. \r \r Update: EVERYTHING That was positive here, happened for me! Whew, they came upset, which is fine the situation sucked. But the second we started talking bussiness and needs John was WONDERFUL, he did the job in 2 hours flat, treated even my less than perfect furniture as it came off the Ethan Allen show room floor, the young man he brought with him, was so polite and friendly. My flustered fiance and I are smilling after a rough morning. We even additinally compensated them for their trouble, because they were so good. If he is willing to work with me again :) I would hire them. more

Absolutely HORRIBLE ! They were not prepared with equpment to move large items, they banged up most of my furniture, took 4 more hours than expected and that was with my husband and brother moving our yard furniture etc cause they were so far behind. The guy is a sheister first class. Run to anyone else for your move- can't be any worse. Oh and when they set up the ned they didn't connect it right and it fell down,,,nice job guys :( They sweated all over my furniture leaving marks & sent kids who had no training moving things. OH be sure you take photos of your furniture the day before you move witha date on it so when they damage it you can submit it to insurance otherwise you are out of luck- it's your word against theirs- guess who won ? the sheister....he should be embarrased by his business practices,,,appalling. more

Delauters moved me personally and was careful, friendly and most of all HONEST. I am a Realtor in the York PA area and have since recommend them for several clients. They have all been highly impressed with their service and prices. Make sure you include them in the quotes you get. Pros: Great Care in moving furniture and valuables. Cons: No Cons here. more

John and his team are real professionals. They are punctual, clean and very careful. Used Delauter's when moving out of parents house. They did a great job with no damages. Price was reasonable and the movers were very helpful in tearing down my bed and putting it back up.
