A Mecanics Opinion Here 1/30/2012

People that want somethin cheap git somethin cheap and there are alot of varyables to a repair verses new and used, rebuilt and crate work! Ive worked for the Carpines and they do there best for the money u got to spend and have good mechanics. Wish i was still in the area. Id work for them! Thank you! One persons opinion aint the big picture. My name is Lonnie, have worked there sorry this guy aint happy, he should givem a chance to explain and or make it right! they would i believe! more

They installed a rusted Torque converter 4/18/2009

Got the transmission out and the torque converter was badly rusted all over. Got a nice picture to so the Judge. This thing sat out in the rain and then they installed it. The car didn't even need a new torque converter. Just the trans case was cracked but they took out my perfectly good torque converter and put in a rusty one. Where's my torque converter, Crapeeen? more on the transmission 4/17/2009

I am unbolting the flex plate from the torque converter and every bolt is stripping as I try to loosen them. They turn for a 1/2 turn and then strip and get stuck. I'm going to have to grind the heads off. Thanks Crapeen! So now I have a bad torque converter and a ruined flex plate thanks to them installing my transmission improperly. I've taken auto transmissions out of the same model car as I have and never had stuck torque converter bolts. They must have over tightened them with a impact wrench or maybe just installed the wrong bolts again. I'll take a few more pictures. Cons: more stripped bolts more

bad transmission install 4/17/2009

I had my transmission replaced there a few years ago. They stripped bolts in the case and just screwed non-metric bolts in there instead. They also stripped threads in the case that hold on the coil packs so they were only connected with 2 bolts instead of 4. I have a video to prove it. See you in court Mr. Crapeeeeen. Stay away from this guy. He does poor work and everyone in town knows it. Cons: stripped bolts more
