In sadness I write the fallowing review, for I had been so happy with Del-Air. Purchased a new heat pump and outside fan unit in 2004, with yearly service each year to date, .9/15/2014 Service Tech replaced a motor module. Would of been about a 30 minute job, but the new part required a modification. I watched, the change out was dune in minutes excluding the mod time of the new part.. Complaint: The service Tech drilled new part mounting holes he did brush away ""outside"" metal fragments, now there can still be some particles inside the Module that did not blow clean, he had no air supply to blow clean the inside. Upon arrival the Tech verbally stated what he was sure the problem was. He quickly opened the unit, within a couple of minutes said yes that is it. The charge was $208.00 for the module change out, then onsite I was charged an extra $79.00 for what was called a Diagnostic review which I had not been informed of. If you call with a protest, like I did on this $79.00 additional charge, I was told I was notified before hand. hen stone walled switched from this person to the next, later the local Manger and the on site Tech ended up being my judge and jury ""Good Luck on That"" What hurts more than the $79.00 charge, is I must of recommended Dl-Air a hundred times in the past 4 years. Well that is all gone, I would now have different comments, plus a company I respected will not be on my list for my future purchases. The complaint system at De-Aii I found to be defective to non existent, this is both sad and unfair to both the business and the client. I know this has to cost the company a lot plus lost good will. They won this battle but lost the war my goodwill is gone my faith broken. :-(
