My pedicures last so long (I always apologize because I know it is more work for them when I come in once every 4-6 weeks but my toenails don't chip, they LAST! I am hard on my hands, so I have to come in more often but again, they do an amazing job - I am always happy and I have NEVER had an issue with fungus or anything like that. This is a quality place and what you get here is VALUE. They will not be cheap but nothing good is. :-)\r more

I love Del Mar Nails & Spa. I have never made an appointment with anyone in particular as every time I have made an appointment I am happy with whoever is assigned to me. I have used all of their services for women and I am very, very happy with the results.\r more

Exceptionally happy with the quality of my gel manicure (OPI products) and fabulous ""Royal"" pedicure -- a bit expensive at $50, but what a treat and worth every penny! When I'm in the area I know I have a great nail salon to go to. Highly recommend -- book ahead to make sure there's a spot.\r more

""I am a veteran client of Del Mar Nails and no matter where I move to, I always come get my nails done there.\r Low turnover, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive .... just a few adjectives I use to describe the salon and the staff. Their new decor is very modern and all new massage chairs and I love the people watching as many people mill in and out of the Del Mar Plaza parking lot (good vantage point). The most important thing and probably why I have come here for almost 10 years is because they do the best job of ANYONE. The only place that has done similar is up in San Francisco, but there is NO competition in San Diego (nor North County). If you want your nails done RIGHT, this is your place.""\r more

My bridesmaids and I went to Del Mar Nails the night before my wedding in Fallbrook, CA (married Nov 25th). I called ahead of time to reserve space for 5 of us. They were very responsive (called me back immediately) and set everything up without a problem. Their prices were reasonable. When we arrived, they were finishing up a couple of customers, but had the whole place reserved for us. We were all very satisfied with both the service and the look of our nails. Three of us got regular manicures and 2 got gel manicures. My gel manicure lasted for a month (through a wedding, 2 separate receptions and a honeymoon) and looked great!\r more

I'm happy to have found this place! It has a small shop feel, and smells nice too (none of that strong chemical smell you find most other places). I was able to get an appointment the same day, and got a basic mani/pedi for only $36! They didn't have any dryers for my nails, but were very helpful in assisting me while they air dried. Lily did my pedicure, and I loved how she took her time being thorough! I will definitely be going back again soon.\r more

I love the new, cozy pedi chairs with massage features that relax and calm my spirit. Everyone is friendly and helpful even when they are busy. Personalized attention is exceptional!! And my toes love the attention too. They look fabo and stay that way even with my barefoot walks on the beach.\r more

I went to three other salons in San Diego to see who was best, and the other three were inferior to Del Mar Nails. The last one even used such inferior nail products (not the real gel shellac) that they almost ruined my nail bed. I have since returned to Del Mar Nails & Spa and will be a long-time, loyal customer.\r more

I first went to this salon because of the good reviews on Yelp. I went for my first-ever gel shellac manicure. It's a small, very busy salon, but with or without an appointment, they fit you in. They do an excellent job. I have had four different technicians do my nails over the past few months and every one of them have been excellent. They listened to what I wanted (shape and length of nail) and used the best products. I have not been disappointed once.\r more

I have been getting my manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing done at Del Mar Nails for about three years now and I would not go anywhere else. I had trouble with weak nails until I made this my only destination for my nail care. They absolutely have the most wonderful foot massages I have ever experienced and that alone would bring me back. I love how long the beautiful shellac colors look and stay perfectly for me. Cute shop with relaxing nature films make the total experience perfect. The technicians are good but I get an appointment with Megan every time since she first did anything for me.\r more

Best Pedicure in town! 8/9/2008

Del Mar Nails & Spa is the best! I loved the atmosphere, comfortable, friendly, and soooo clean. I got the best pedicure ever, it has lasted longer than ever before. I believe that the prices are very fair and reasonable for the area. My feet look so great. Next visit I will get a manicure also. I am going to tell ALL my friends. I LOVE Del Mar Nails & Spa 8/9/2008

I love everything about this salon. The staff is very professional but also very friendly, andl they all go that extra mile to make sure you get what you want. My nails and hands have never looked better and my feet feel like silk, even though I'm in sandals a lot of the time. I highly recommend Del Mar Nails to men AND women. I had to drag my husband there the first time but he has already made his second appointment!! more
