Simply put Outstanding 2/8/2003

After reading the reveiws written here, my wife and I desided to check out Del Frisco's ourselves. We made reservations for Friday, Feb. 7. Upon arriving we were seated right away, given menus, and our drink orders taken. Our server brought us warm bread and ask us if we were ready to order, we were. My wife ordered the filet mignon and I the strip. We ordered the potato Au gratin and sauteed mushrooms to share, she the spinich salad and I the lobster bisque.Everything was brought to order. Del Frisco's steaks are the most delectable steaks I have ever wrapped my mouth around. You MUST go and try their variety of cuts. Pricey, but worth every succulent penny! Approx. $20-25 per steak. Each cut offered in small and large sizes. Also, their Lobster is just as amazing! Pros: Superb steaks, Low lighting-romantic, Lobster Bisque! Cons: Crowded - very busy, Slow service, small bar more

There is no better 1/12/2003

Eight of us went to Del Frisco's last night for the first time. It was a Sat. so the place was very busy. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The restaurant was beautiful. Our drinks were served right away. Vince our waiter took the order then the best dinner any of us have ever had was brought to the table on piping hot plates. I had the filet & crab, others had a kabob,ribeye,and lobster. All was fantastic. Pros: the best food, the best service, great value more

Grrrrreat Steaks! 12/1/2002

The filet is like a small roast that is so tender, it melts in your mouth. It doesn't get any better than this, if you are a steak afficianado. Mixed beverage servings are generous. Pros: intimate bar, good parking more

The Decor may need a little upgrading - but when it comes to steaks - you can cut them with a butter knife and their oysters rockefellor are the best ever. more

My family and I have been dining at Del Frisco's for 20 years now, and I have to say no other steakhouse compares. The food is always consistant, the service top notch,and Audrey the owner is always there with a joke. Ask for Vince you will never be disapointed. more

Never had better 8/29/2002

On a resent visit to Del Frisco's, my husband and I had one of the best meals we have ever had since moving here from Ca. 6 months ago. Rarly are resturants congratulated, and I'm glad to be able to do so here. The steaks are are the best, no knife needed. We had been going to another popular steak house and am glad to have found this one.We will be back. Pros: good value, great food, great service more

this is a classic steakhouse with great food. the steaks arrive on a sizzling plate covered with buttter, with the filet a knife is hardly needed. excellent side dishes include the green phunque (a spinach casserole) and a fluffy baked potato. service is timelyand friendly, but maybe slightly sporadic when restaurant is full. overall, a good restaurant with quality food. Pros: excellent food, seperate smoking area, available parking more

Melts in your mouth!!! 6/23/2002

I made a trip for the steak (and my girlfriend), and the steak at Del Frisco's was spectacular. No steak knife was needed for the Filet. The lobster bisque was full of fresh and large chunks of lobster. The creamed spinach (named something funny) and the potatoes augratin were also great hits. The only dish that I had a problem with was the Caesar Salad, just to much dressing. Coming from NYC, where many world famous eateries abound, this steak house would hold its own. Enjoy with friends! more
