I don't know what the draw is for this dump. It's and old dumpy dirty bar with nerdy undesirable people in it? No one cool or hot goes there. Pros: NONE Cons: nerdy people...

Great times with good friends 7/13/2010

I use to live in Pittsburgh many years ago and this bar was my second home. I'm wishing that Dee's had facebook or a up dated wed site. I had many friend that all hung out there in collage and many of us had lost touch over the years, but I think if Dee's had a Facebook page it would help many people to find each other and share our memory's of our good times at Dee's and in Pittsburgh. Please Dee's up date your web page and get on facebook or Myspace. I hope y'all read this and start it soon. Love you Dee's and hope to see you soon. more

I love dee's, and in response to pghdiner, I'm pretty hot and go to dee's and you're prob a bro with tribal tattoos. in response to the other comment, the bartenders don't ignore people...maybe if you're a complete assshole and don't tip because you're a piece of shit. Dive Bar 6/2/2008

Great cheap dive bar. BAD service. It's too crowded and the only 2 bartenders ignore whomever they don't like. Cheapest place in the South Side. Great atmosphere. Dark. Dingy. And fun crowd. Great jukebox Pros: Cheap Cons: the service more

  • The Scene
    The five pool tables, three jukeboxes and regulation Ping-Pong table are only upstaged by the cheeseburger. The upstairs, perhaps the largest above-ground game-rumpus room in existence, is usually open Thursday through Sunday and mixes stiff little drinks to the swinging tunes of a rockabilly jukebox.

    The Draw
    It has the neighborhood's biggest booth and the longest bar, a mural depicting 85 of its best customers and towering 23-ounce glasses of beer for just $1.50. And that's just on the first floor. Dee's rode the wave that swept away the South Side's blue-collar reputation and replaced it with a tie-dyed and flannel one--it's a child of both ages. The first floor is a mix of art-deco chic and Arby's sensibilities, and is frequented by neighborhood hepcats and outside interloping wanna-bes.
