Disappointed 8/24/2011

I have shopped at Decembers for many years until recently..I am in the process of moving and stopped in to ask if I may have boxes they are no longer using. I was told that I can drive to the back of their business on Monday's when they have shipments. One Monday morning I stopped behind the store and a not so nice lady in a older black car pulled up. I said "good morning" and she said I had no business taking their boxes, she would rather have the garbage trucks have them. She told me I would make a mess and I should leave. I left and will never shop there agin.. I just spent $60 dollars at hallmark and shall continue to do so. more

i applied for a job at decembers in shipping and recieving and stock. i have 40 years in retail management. not good enough or maybe i'am to old . i have a meeting with the eeoc. on monday. more

Unhappy Customer 11/3/2009

Bought a baby bible for my nephew's baptism ask the owner to ingrave the bible with his first name middle name and last name. Well when i got there they only had the first and middle name. The manager called back and told me that there is nothing they can do I said well it's your fault that you never contacted me to let me no that you couldn't fit the whole name on the bible. I have called twice to speak with the manager and she will not call me back. I am very disappointed in how the owner is handling there business. unhappy customer more

We love your store and visit it (from AZ) every time we're in town. Your products, staff, and helpfulness make it one of the best experiences in shopping that we find in the downriver area. You definitely earn 5 stars! Pros: We LOVE the pictures of the birds! Superb! more

I love this place! 11/4/2005

My youngest DD makes her 1st communion next year and this will be the place where I buy all that she needs. December's offers a large variety of christian items and you can find the perfect gift here. more

My favorite store 9/4/2005

This is my favorite store. This is where I shop to buy gifts for the grandchildren for baptisim, christining, birthday, birth, etc. They have religous and non religous items. Truely a great reasonable gift shop that I never leave without buying something. more

Great Store, With A Very Wide Selection 7/13/2005

Decembers carries lots of unique christian gifts. We got my daughter some very sweet booties there for her baptism. I would have also purchased her baptismal gown there, had we not been using my husbands, because they had some very adorable gowns. They have lots of unique gifts. We always shop there when we need a gift for a special occasion, such as a First Communion, Baptism, or Confirmation. The prices are reasonable, and we have never been dissatisfied with a purchase. more

This store has been around for many years and I remember going here with my mother when I was young. My entire family has loved this store for years. They have a lot of religous items and statues for your home. We make a special trip out to Southgate just to stop in. Perfect for those special gifts it really is a special place! more
