Okay if you want a dog that will smell really bad and have mental issues this is the place for you. These people are sick! They need to fix this place up. I'm very happy that they got rid of this place in the mall because they deserved to run out of business and I bet you no one is surprised that this place ran out of business to be honest. I'm really not a mean person, I just want these animals to have a better life. more

I bought Maya from Debby's Pet Land in Kingston. A beautiful siberian huskey that I complete loved and adored! She past away suddenly on June 7, 2011 she was just 3 years old. I found out that when she was a puppy she was very very very sick, that she was probably born sick. I tried very hard to get in touch with the breeders but found out she came from some puppy mill Missouri!! The poor little doggie was probably born sick because of inbreeding!! Horrible! We paid $1,300 for a sick puppy....but whats even worse is how much we loved her and to have her taken away from us so soon and so sudden, words just cant descibe the pain. I know the store in Kingston and Hyannis are closed. I hope they are all closed!! I want all the puppy mills to be closed!!! Very very very sad. I cannot believe this place is still in business. It is always filthy and smells horrible when you go into any of their stores. The puppy area is just rancid. The cages are always dirty and the puppies appear to have perpetual diarrhea. I am a veterinarian from the area and have treated many dogs from this location with a number of different illnesses. I can't tell you how many owners have lost dogs from Parvo and other terrible diseases. Even though you have the inclination to purchase a puppy from Debby's in order to ""save"" it, please don't. You are only contributing to the vicious cycle that these puppy mills thrive off of. If you are looking into adding a puppy to your family, please save yourself the money, headache, and heartache. Adopt from a shelter or go to a proper breeder. This pet store will tell you that the puppies are from a breeder and will even show you papers proving AKC lines and parents lineage. Do not be fooled. Any responsible breeder would never consider selling any of their puppies to a pet store. Im writing this to inform all animal lovers out there. I work for a humane organization and we have had complaint after complaint about Debby's Pet Land. The dogs come from Puppy Mills, which are like the evquilant to factory farms. Those cute puppies that you see are inbred, overbred, and sickly. The mothers and fathers of these puppies are kept in cages their whole life, some never even get to walk on solid ground, they are breeding machines...and many of the puppies and unsocialized...which can make training very difficult. Purchasing a puppy from a pet store like Debby's Pet land is supporting this cruelty. i hate these stores even though i love the dogs! =] but the stores are cruel.. the poor dogs have to stay in a cage all day and all night! they don't take good care of them either! i wish i could bye all the doggss! there so cute! i think that the stores should be closed for what they have done to these poor inicent animals! i feel rly bad for all of them! my moms friend baught a dog from there and then a week later it died! so sad so sad ik ik! i criedddd! =[ soo i think that these stores are no good! they should all be closeeeddddddd and they should lower there prices man let me tell u that! * screaming on the top of lungs while saying this**** Pros: THEY HAVE RLY CUTE PETSSSS!
