Wait staff terrible 12/28/2010

A great place for drinks and to watch a game but terrible service if dining. Took almost 2 hours for a sandwich and the waitress was very aloof, completely forgetting about our table. more

Great steamed shrimp, burgers and wings. 7/6/2009

There is always plenty of parking either on the lot next door or on the street. They have a ton of different beers on tap with a great HH specials. They also run specials throughout the week that gives you a great meal with a low price. All of the staff is real friendly and they have pool tables, games and fooseball table for entertainment. Pros: Fantstic food, cool atmosphere with cool people working Cons: A little crowded on the more popular nights. more

Great on a weekday. 5/2/2007

This place is always great or way too crowded. Depending on who security is on the night that you show up it can either be inviting and relaxed or you can have to deal with the occasional harrasment from guys who don't seem to remember that is used to be a biker bar and IS on Harford Road. During the week it can be a great place to unwind after work but on the weekends you might as well or two drinks every time you come to the bar because the place is so packed you're not going to get served with any type of quickness, although that is not due to a lack of urgency from the staff, they are very hardworking and can handle a rather drunk and rowdy crowd at times. The food is decent usually, it can occasionally be very good and occasionally be very bad. The menu however has a wide selection that is definitively bar food. Freddie's isn't trying to be some place it isn't, it is lacking for the singles crowd however. Pros: great parking for a harford road location Cons: very crowded on the weekends. more

The Best of The Best 11/9/2005

What can I say about this place other than out of a 5 star rating I would give it 5 stars. Great food and people go hand and hand. So it's a little smokey, so what. I don't smoke and the little bit of smoke doesn't bother me. If you don't like it, stay home! It would be your loss. Pros: Inexpensive, Off Street Parking, Great people and food Cons: N/A, N/A, N/A more

Not Bad at all 10/29/2005

I think Dead Freddies is a great local bar. I have ventured in several times and had a great time. DFs has good mixes of people that go in, all ages. Most of the people are very nice, even the women which is surprising cause we all know how women can be. They have a couple of pool tables, dartboards and a lot of TVs, good for football. The bartenders are all nice and take very good care of you, especially Mooney. Youre never left hanging at the bar wondering if anyone is going to wait on you. Michael, the new owner is very nice also; he is in most of the time standing by the door talking to his customers and greeting all who ventures in. So yeah, I recommend you at least stopping in and checking it out. Pros: service, parking lot, Price is right more

Smoke Hell 8/3/2004

While the food was good, and prices and selection were average, if it weren't for the disgusting thick clouds of smoke, I'd definitely return. Too many chain smokers (including the owner). Not crowded, probably because of the smoke turn off. Lots of big tv's, but you can't wait to leave so you can get fresh air! Pros: Good Parking, Not Crowded, good food more
