Worst experience EVER!!! Staff is helpful and kind but after having an issue, not once but twice with unsatisfactory engraving, I spoke to Jim (the store owner!) who couldn't have handled the situation worse! He treated me as if it was my fault that the work wasn't done properly and that my expectations were unreasonable and impossible to meet. I expected the engraving on my husband's gift to be centered, level and for the jewelry to be free of scratches...which it wasn't. I ended up having to drive 3 hours, to a different store, to get the job done right in order to have the gift when needed…if I could have purchased from a different store altogether I would have. Unfortunately Day’s was the only store that had the matching bracelet for my husband’s ring. My time and satisfaction was of no concern to Jim. I give him a 0 out of 5 stars. I will say that the S.Portland store was very accommodating and understanding of my desire to have a quality engraved gift. I will never shop at or refer anyone to the Bangor store again.
