I sometimes travel with a vintage 1987 Raggedy Ann doll during difficult periods in my life. I've had this doll since my second birthday, and its sentimental value is through the roof. While I was at this hotel, a housekeeper made up our room - DESPITE the "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the knob - and made off with my doll. I had no choice but to go home without her. I called the manager every day for a week. He first assured me that he had spoken to EVERYONE in housekeeping, and told them to keep an eye out for it, but I have since learned that this is not true. I will never see my doll again. If you travel with objects of real or sentimental value, I recommend any hotel but this one.
