You will never get the level of service, experience, and professionalism from the big chain boys like Guitar Ctr & Ash as you will from Davidson. Upon entering Davidson, you are greeted by the founder and owner, Corey Davidson, not by a salesman whos main objective is to sell new gear. Davidson has serviced my Teak Portastudio, Gemini II, upgraded my Hartke, and installed new pots on my Ovation (just to name a few repairs). They treated my old gear like valuable vintage equipment. This repair shop came recommeneded by Fender for warrenty work.\r \r Ive been in the hobby for over 30 years and never had any probs with repairs shops before.\r \r I went to drop off my amp and was very rudely greeted by a manager who barked at me that I should ahve called first..\r \r after that I expalined the issue on the amp and I was spoken to like I was a child and reprimanded for not having my amp serviced there before.\r \r I explained that I didnt know that they existed until today. The unprofessional conduct went on for a few minutes. Their personel is very knowledgeable...right down to the office staff. At any time I've needed to talk directly to a tech, I get put right through. This is a very strong team of experts and experienced engineers and musicians. They are all well spoken and never hesitate to explain, to the minutest details, every aspect of your equipment's repair. I have brought them all types of amplifiers, keyboards, signal processors, you name it. If they couldn't repair it, they always offered up alternatives and suggestions. I was originally referred to them by friends, but as time goes by, I contantly run into others who have had similar experiences to mine. These dudes are on top of their game. Bigtime.
