I SHOULD'VE KNOW FROM DAY 1 THAT I SHOULD'VE LOOKED ELSEWHERE FOR MY BRIDAL GOWN BUT I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT WHERE I COULD GO FOR GOWNS WITHOUT SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY. THIS PLACE IS LIKE A FACTORY AND NO ONE IS HELPFUL. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU TRY ON THE DRESSES ESPECIALLY WEDDING GOWNS AND TRYING TO PUT IT ON MYSELF WAS HARD. THEY WERE ANNOYED WHEN I ASKED TO TRY ON MORE THAN FOUR DRESSES. GOING FOR ALTERATIONS WAS THE WORST. I WENT FOR MY FIRST FITTING AND ALL MY ALTERATIONS COST $230 AND NOW I HAVE TO GO FOR MY SECOND FITTING AND THEY MESSED UP MY APPT. MORE THAN 2X. I TRY TO CALL AND CONFIRM MY APPT AND IM HOLD FOR MORE THAN 20 MIN. THEN I GET DISCONNECTED. THEY TELL ME THEY WILL CALL ME RIGHT BACK AND THEY NEVER DO. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTATED. AFTER SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON MY DRESS AND ALTERATIONS, YOU WOULD THINK WE DESERVE BETTER TREATMENT!!!! more

I was a little weary of this store when I pulled into the parking lot. I have no idea why David's Bridal would still want to be in this shopping center, but none the less, I gave it a try. I recently had to go to David's Bridal (Queens location) to pick out a bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding. Despite my reservations, they actually had some nice dresses and I found one that was comfortable, reasonably priced, and I will even be able to wear again to a non-wedding event. The store was conveniently located (only a short walk from the train) and the sales people were very friendly and helpful (I worked with Linda). I gave her a picture of the dresses that I was interested in, and within minutes I was in the dressing room trying them on. I was probably in the store for a total of twenty-five minutes and will be able to pick up my dress in only a few weeks time. If you want to buy an ugly dress and get ignored by the sales help, then go here. I needed to order a bridesmaid dress and was given 2 sizes in the style to try on for sizing -- a 2 and an 8. The saleswoman abandoned me for 10-20 minutes at a time leaving me standing in a half-open dress. more
