David's Bridal Cool Springs TN

In February, I decided to try on wedding dresses for the first time. No one recommended David's Bridal, but we thought it would be a casual place to get an idea of what shape/silhouette would work for me. I made an appointment. more

A couple of months ago I went with family and a friend to see her try on her dress.I had already picked a gown and i wasnt looking anymore but my family saw a lady wearing the most beautiful dress and begged me to try it on so finally i did and loved it!A sales woman named Gail was helping us and i didnt plan on buying my dress that day bc my big day isnt till a yr from now so when the manager found out i wasnt buying the dress that day she started being so nosey asking ton of questions that really wasnt any of her business about why wasnt i buying that day then gail said o her weddings not till ayr from now then the manager said AND?then gail blurted out does your dad have to be here when you buy it!bc I said I had to wait and talk to him about it bc he's the one purchasing it!My families mouths were dropped open bc of how they were integregating me!Then on top of all of this when i went back to the store one night to see if the dress was still available 4 lazy workers were all leaning on the front desk not asking me what i needed help with at all!then finally a lady at the desk asked me was i registerd and i said yes then she said rudely well i see you have 2 event dates june 4 and january 15!I said my date has never been january 15 so that let me see GAIL didnt care enough about me to write the correct date OR dress size she put size 10 in the computer im a size 8 she should have known bc she asked me 4 times!I dont know what her problem is but when my friend introduced me to GAIL she looked at me rude THATS HER PROBLEM lol!To sum up this horrible experience lady's dont shop here go the one in rivergate where youll be treated like the queens you are!My dad purchased it from a wonderful woman named CHERYL.i dont know what she was thinking why would i come back and buy it from her hello you have to be nice to customers if you want referrals GAIL!!!O AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THE MANAGER WAS BEING NOSEY AGAIN THAT NIGHT I CAME IN I TOTALLY IGNORED HER AND I THOUGHT IF SHE ASKS ME ANYTHING ELSE ILL TELL HER WHAT I REALLY THINK OF HER NOSEY SELF!!!HAAAAA Pros: pretty gowns Cons: the workers dont spend enough time finding out your needs more

I bought my dress to early, a different size would fit perfectly but since I have had the dress since the first of the year they can't exchange it. All they could say, was sorry, nothing that we can do. it is not far to another bride if that dress has been hanging in your closet for a few months. Cons: customer service more

I have never given a one-star review, but today was the third time I attempted to try on dresses at David's Bridal. The first appointment, a woman said she would help me and we went through the racks to pick out dresses. Then the hostess came over and whispered something to her, and she told me she had to go help another client and for me to ""get back in line."" The second time, I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me. Learning from my previous experience, I had already selected five styles I wanted to try on. When the hostess came over, she said that there had been a mistake and my appt wasn't until next Saturday. Lies. They were extremely busy. That brings us to today. I check in, and am again handed a clipboard that asks for tons of personal information. I'm already being snubbed by one hostess who, when I called, had difficulty understanding my last name (equivalent of Smith), and glared at me the entire time and then the other, kinder hostess doesn't seem to approve that the only info I want to give them is my name and email. My friend joined me and we waited, and waited, checked back in, waited...for an hour and half. I'm done with David's and going to the Bride's Room or Faccio instead. This place is ridiculous.
