Excellent for Business Dinners 12/6/2004

I had a business dinner where I needed a setting to discuss things without shouting over obnoxious music or being bothered to death. The Waiters here were extremely professional, very personable and never in a rush. I highly recommend taking your best client to this place, and order the Osso Bucco off the menu, it is fantastic. Party Perfect 6/7/2004

We recently held the rehearsal dinner for our son and now daughter-in-law at Davide. It was a large crowd, 81 people. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was charming. Guests were allowed to choose from several entreees, yet all the meals came at the same time and were prepared to perfection. You need not require the entire restaurant, smaller crowds could easily be segregated for privacy. Considering the number of courses and the quality of the food and service, the price was quite reasonable. This restaurant is truly a gem. Simply Wonderful 1/22/2004

I've eaten at Davide a numerous amount of times and I must say that it keeps getting better! The manger goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the dining room runs smoothly. The waitstaff are not only courteous, efficient and friendly but they excel at they're job. The kitchen staff, especially Frank G, prepare the food impeccably with a mouth watering taste to die for! There is such a variety of wines and grappas that it is so difficult to pick just ONE. I strongly recommend Davide Restaurant, you will not be disappointed!! Pros: waitstaff, food, atmosphere more

I ate here this past Valentines Day. The food and atmosphere are top notch. The menu and the wine list are a little pricey, but well worth the little extra cash. Pros: Great Quality, Excellent Service, Amazing Wine List Cons: Pricey, Hard to find Parking more

The Best Restaurant In Boston 2/10/2003

I've eaten just about everywhere, and Davide is the best restaurant in Boston. The food was incredible, our waiter was fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect. The wine list was overwhelming, but our waiter was more than helpful, making suggestions for both a $30 bottle and $300 bottle. It's a little pricey, but well worth it. I will be back....often. My husband & I having been going to Davide for about 3 yrs. We make it a special occasion because when you are there they make you feel very special. The food is fantastic as well as the service. Boston Flooring Christmas Party 12/21/2002

After researching over four hundred restaurants, Davide provided the widest venue to fufill the needs of our eclectic group. Calling for reservations was actually fun; I spoke directly to one of the owners. The night could not have gone more pleasantly. The food and service was fabulous, and the entire group was delighted with the selection and quality. The appetizers were delicate and tasteful, especially the carpaccio. Great Food & Service,But 12/13/2002

The dinning experience was fabulous. Excellent food, attentive service, nice atmosphere and very extensive wine list. Only one complaint. I know restaurants overcharge for wines but 4 times the retail price is absurd. A 1997 Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Gold Label was priced at $160.00/ bottle. I have two on my wine rack one I purchased last year for $36.99 and one this year for $38.99. I must be sitting on a major find? Any offers? I'm mot being cheap either, we ordered 2 bottles of the 1999 Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Tan Label at $52.00/bottle. I would definitely go there again. One other thing they offer valet parking THEN charge you $15.00 and park it accross the street. All the fine restaurants I've been to, valet parking was free. If I had know I would have parked it myself and spent more on the wine. Pros: Excellent Service, Great Presentation, Great Food Cons: Very Expensive Wines, Forget Valet Parking more

We love Davide! We noted in your information that it is not good for children, but, on our last anniversary when the babysitter fell through, we called Davide and resquested an extra seat at the table for two. They were wonderfully accomodating, and were happy to comply with our 8 year old's request for ""plain"" risotto. He enjoyed the fine dining experiance as much as we did! (he also ate half of my meal as well) Bravo. Pros: valet parking more

Top notch 11/9/2002

One of the best restaurants I've been to. I'm always surprised this place doesn't get more notice. Food is delicious across the board, service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. On all three occasions I've gone to this restaurant, I've showed up without a reservation (admittedly, early in the evening) and my party was seated immediately by a gracious maitre'd without a moment's hesitation. A place where the patron is always the center of attention. The wine list is entensive and wonderfully complete (especially in the Italian reds...Barbaresco, Barolo...curiously, little in the way of Brunellos..but with a Produttori di Barbaresco like the one we had on my last visit, who needs Brunello ;-). Eccellentissimo! 7/4/2002

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Davide, and feel more than compelled to share my opinions online. Davide's food was exquisite, and wine selection was excellent. The courses worth mentioning include bell pepper soup, venison, and veal, which were very nicely done and left us no room for complaint. Ambience was romantic and relaxing, and actually reminiscent of Italy. Service was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Highly recommended!!
