David Nelson Exquisite Jewelry

I'm sorry to have to report this. I find myself being very upset and angry with this company. About 3 weeks ago, I dropped off two real gold chains to be fixed due to the connector piece being broken off on both chains. When I arrived to pick up the chains both chains appeared to be fixed. I noticed the thicker chain that belong to my grandmother appeared lighter. I took bother chains on friday Aug 03 2012. Returned the thicker chain to my grandmother and she immediately told me this was not her chain, she ask me to return back to the store and talk with them about this. At this point we believed the chain was switch accidently. After calling the store with my grandmother on the line and speaking with a young woman who then transferred the call to Elizebet who I believe is David's wife, She informed me that she had to talk the matter over with David Nelson and that he would give me a call back the following day. really my Mother had David Nelson Exquisite Jewelry appraise a ring and I had a jewelry loupe and know alot about precious stones and many of us in the room carefully studied the stone, and we know the ring came back with a different stone-very cheap look a like. The ring was a gift to her from a very wealthy person and I know that person would not own a glass ring. If it was glass why would they take and keep it to appraise it, a good jeweler would know instantly wouldnt he? more

I have always gone to David's for my jewelry repair needs and they are very pleasant people to deal with and they do a fine job on repairing jewelry in a short period of time. One time I needed a ring sized a few days prior to my wedding and they did it the next day and I had the ring in time. They are truely wonderful and great wit jewelry. more
