Good Service 12/7/2011

I have been going to David McDavid Acura since I bought my car from them in 2009. I have never had any issues with the dealership. When I take my care in for service I am always greeted by someone with a smile. They show me to the waiting area, provide water, tea, or coffee, and they have little snacks to eat while you wait. I rather enjoy my little stay there. If the main waiting area is too loud they have a second lounge that is much quieter. Great for reading. Also, they notify me of additional repairs that my car sometimes needs. They don't push it on me, I have a choice to get it fixed there, later, or somewhere else. Give them a shot, I'm glad I did. more

above average dealership 8/21/2005

This dealership is more than decent. The lot is fairly large, but not huge, so you may not find exactly what you want here. The sales staff is both sociable and familiar with Acura-made cars and with the inventory, so if your car happens to be in the lots, they'll find it immediately. The staff isn't always nice though, but they still never rush you through the selling process. The service and repair center is right across the street for convenience, and will take care of your car. more

don't buy from them 8/10/2005

I went to their Acura dealership a few years ago wanting to buy a new car. Walked in, talked to a sales guy, and he told us that we needed to show him we had money before he would start negotiating the price with us. Of course we walked out. The sales person told us that he didn't think we had money to buy a car at all. I was so mad and we drove to Arlington to buy a car on the same day. I sent a letter to David McDavid about this but never heard back. I'd have to say though, their service department is a lot better than their sales department. I would not recommend anyone buying a car from them, but if you take your car there for service, always ask for a discount, they will give it to you. more
