The 1st part of this year my fiance' Jenny and I had the good fortune to find David Gregory. They took out the ""stress"" of designing safe-the-date cards, wedding invitations, place cards and programs for us. We initially dropped by and Greg showed us where we could look through samples of custom designed invitations at our leisure. After my finance' and I made some preliminary decisions, we talked with Greg and realized how much we didn't know about the etiquette of wedding invitations. These guys know what they're talking about! We asked about working out the specific details for our invitations and just then several customers came into the store. Greg asked if we would be willing to make an appointment to finish our conversation, suggesting that we meet either before opening or closing the store. He explained that by meeting before or after the store closed, he would be able to give us his undivided attention. We liked the idea of working with a locally owned shop and this help confirm our decision. Being able to meet in the evening was very helpful as my finance' was able to have her mother and father join us. I threw a party to celebrate a close friend's recovery from a serious operation. I wanted something simple and fun, traditional with a twist. After just one meeting with David Gregory they nailed what I was looking for and produced a beautiful invitation, a completely original design, even customizing the envelope to hint at the piece inside. Nearly every guest, and there were 75 of them, mentioned how nice the invitations were. Easy to work with, easy proof approval, and quick delivery. I can't imagine using anyone else. Pros: They help you define, then give you exactly what you're looking for. Cons: None for me. more

I like to give out compliments as frequent as I give criticism and this is a winner. This easy to access shop is chocked full of great gifts, unique cards and cleaver, yet classy advice. I have used David Gregory for personal note cards and even business cards for the enterpeuneral members of my clan. They have the ability to customize and help me decide which detail is perfect for every member of my family. Don't know what I would do without them! Thanks guys. P.S. Too, I can always tell when I get a special invitation in the mail...9 times out of 10 it is from 'David Gregory'..the word is out. more

I've tried 3 times to view wedding invitations with my daughter at David Gregory. First time..no wedding books in the store--at a bridal show--go there. Second time--you need an appointment--(no one was in the store)--you need to come back Third time---had a 9 am appointment--We knocked and knocked...no one came to the door; lights were out. When I called at 10, they said they were there we didn't knock hard enough. When I said that I thought they should have been watching for us (we were on time) especially since it was cold and raining, they had no answer. Just said we were obviously unhappy and nothing they could say would change that....how uncivil!!! RSVP in Prairie Village loved it though...they were nice as could be...we order 2,500 in invitations there!!! Pros: Nothing I can think of! Rude and abrasive! Cons: No idea they are in a customer service industry more
