I began to go to David Alan Salon in 2001 because he generously donated hair products to the nonprofit organization I worked for at the time, Gilda's Club. I was impressed by his generosity and decided to try the salon and have never regretted it.\r

David himself cuts my hair. From the outset, he looks at the shape of your face, the way your hair falls, where it parts, the kind of hairline you have, and cuts your hair with that in mind. Every move he makes with scissors is careful and well thought out. He will make suggestions, but also take suggestions. He is unhurried, taking the time to make sure layers are even, bangs are properly angled, and that you are happy with the final result.\r

The salon itself is extremely comfortable, and the staff make you feel warmly welcomed. \r
