Dave's Road Bikes Inc

I met Dave Moses, the man behind Dave's Road Bikes, Inc., when I was looking to upgrade from a road bike to a triathlon-specific bike in 2011. I found his shop through the internet, and gave him a call. Despite being a little over an hour away from where I live, I decided to visit his shop and see what he had to offer. One of the best decisions I have made in my time as a triathlete. So worth the trip. Dave took the time to show me his wares and educate me about the geometry of tri bikes. He then gave me a great deal and sold me a tri bike within my affordability range, after which he took the time to fit me and my shoes to the bike for maximum efficiency (he has a fit studio set up for the task). Since then, I have been back each year to see Dave twice annually for tune-ups, and he always takes the time to thoroughly go over my bike, educate me as to how it works, and give me good deals as to whatever parts I may need. I have also referred a number of fellow cyclists and triathletes to Dave, all of whom have come away extremely satisfied. Dave goes the extra mile. Well worth the trip!\r more

I contacted Dave months ago after seeing a lot of his custom built bikes beautifully displayed on Craigslist. \r \r Having competed in triahlons for 6-7 years now, I wanted to upgrade my existing road bike that I had purchased used from a bike rental dealer years ago.\r \r I was unsure if I wanted to get a newer, high end road bike or go with a triathalon specific bike.\r \r After speaking to Dave on the phone, I decided to go see him and get his opinion.\r \r He gave me all the time on the world to just talk about the benefits and drawbacks of each option. Dave has a wealth of knowledge regarding road and tri bikes. I was more impressed with his willingness to suggest and recommend the best solution for ME.....not just sell an expensive bike.\r \r After months of searching, I decided my best choice was to get a triathlon bike and to get it from Dave. I live in Lancaster, PA, so it's not like Dave is right around the corner from me.\r \r I just finished my purchase os a Jamis Trilogy Triathlon bike yesterday.....Super Bowl Sunday....that's right, Dave was willing to accommodate me on a Sunday.....Super Bowl Sunday no less. I just finished my first triathlon in Miami this last weekend. I had never biked or had owned any kind of road or tri bike before and to be honest had no idea what to even get. Dave helped me by getting me on the right bike for my needs and supplying me with everything I was going to need to compete in my first tri. I have trained for approx 3 months on my bike and I can honestly say that was the best part of my triathlon experience. My bike time was actually in the top 25% of the field. Dave even broke down and packed up my bike for me to ship it down to Miami. Thanks Dave for everything!!! more

Dave really listens to what you need and want and then takes care of you. I'm new to serious cycling. I've just been a casual rider on my all terrain Trek. My husband had talked me into competing as part of a relay team, that is participating in a sanctioned triathalon. The road bike I had was not working, and I contacted Dave to try to get help in making it work. I told him the issues I was having and what I wanted to accomplish. Immediately he knew what the problems were, and spent time helping me get what I needed to get up to speed. He listened to my concerns for safety and comfort and didn't try to push me into anything I wasn't ready for (like Clips). Dave makes his customer a priority. I've always found him to be flexible and helpful when it comes to servicing my bike. I bought a time trial bike from him that has improved my speed over my old bike a couple of miles per hour. He is willing to accomodate repairs and technical support whenever I need it.
