This is the most unlikely of stores to be so very popular, but I have never been to Dave's Rock Shop and not found a crowd there. What do they sell? Fossils, geodes, precious gems...

Dave's is a great place to get nice stones and findings for jewelry making. They have a wonderful selection of both precious and semi-precious stones. The staff is great, and they will assist you in finding everything you need to make that perfect piece of jewelry. They sell stones individually or by the strand. Rocks, Gems, and Gifts 8/27/2005

Ok, why would you want to go to a rock shop? I guarantee you if you stop in here once, it won't be your last trip. There are stones and gems for jewelry making (and some already made jewelry). You will come away with loads of ideas and things you never knew you needed. Helpful staff remember you. PROS: best place for rocks and gems CONS: check the hours for opening before you go more
