This is the most unlikely of stores to be so very popular, but I have never been to Dave's Rock Shop and not found a crowd there. What do they sell? Fossils, geodes, precious gems...

This is the most unlikely of stores to be so very popular, but I have never been to Dave's Rock Shop and not found a crowd there. What do they sell? Fossils, geodes, precious gems for jewelry-making, and jewelry. The selection is fantastic for anyone who likes to make jewelry, and there is a range of prices. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Its a strange, if friendly, cast of characters who frequent Dave's, but that makes it just that much more unique. Great fun for the kid in your life, even if that's you. more

Relish Earth's treasures 1/15/2006

I went here to buy a gift for someone. Interested in the healing powers of stones, I asked the clerks what would be good for someone with high blood pressure. I told them what my budget was. They came up with a beautiful amber heart with a silver chain that fit my budget. How cool is that? They were very knowledgeable and helpful and even gave me some printed sheets that briefly explained the healing value of various stones. This place is full of wonders and the prices are reasonable. A destination shop! more

Great shop 10/29/2005

This place is a dream if you're looking for semi-precious stones or all manner of geodes and other rocks... the place is absolutely stocked with everything you'd ever want, and has things for kids and adults. It's also great for jewelry stones and finished pieces. Prices are not outrageous and you'll even find shark's teeth and dinosaur bones. It's a unique find. more

Unique store 8/22/2005

This place is great! I sometimes go there just to look at all the beautiful and intriguing rocks/gemstones they carry. There is a huge amount of jewelry at a very reasonable price as well. Also downstores they have a little dinosaur museum that would be fun for kids. Great place to get a unique gift for friends/family. more

This shop rocks 8/21/2005

I went to this store to look for geodes-they are slices of rocks that have beautifully colored interiors. I found a lot to choose from and bought several and used one in a stained glass project I was doing. The shop also has some stained glass with rocks/geodes in them. A fun place to stop by and look! more
