My moving experience with Dave Poletti was great. They were pretty prompt about setting up an apartment viewing and then sending all the necessary paperwork (basically everything is done via email). I was able to be very thorough on the move-in inspection checklist, so as to avoid paying for damage I didn't cause once I (eventually) move out. The leasing agent (Aurora) was even pointing out specific things I should note. It was nice to feel like the property management was on my side. I was also able to add things I hadn't previously noticed after I moved in. For example, the water pressure in my shower wasn't great and they had someone within days come in and replace my shower head and fix the knob. Now my place is perfett! Dave Poletti Associates is the worst property manager I have ever encountered. They simply collect rent and let the building owners do whatever they want when repairs are necessary. They respond slowly and there seems to be no internal communication, so no one knows anything. In my case, it took 2 weeks after we signed the lease and moved in to receive access to the storage and laundry area (both pretty important when moving) despite notifying them of the problem (old key) within 2 hours of signing the lease. They have performed repairs to the building that leave exposed wood and insulation for months at a time, only returning to finish jobs after much prodding. In the middle of summer, it was decided our deck needed repairs. So they ripped half of it off and then didn't come back for a month, despite many emails and calls. And they treat you like are unreasonable for expecting repairs to be done promptly. They are mainly a commercial property management company and their business is very much geared towards that. I cannot speak to that, but do not expect them to do ANYTHING other than take your money. If we weren't moving states in a few months, I would be out of there the minute my lease is up. more

Dave Poletti & Associates was extremely accommodating. I am a teacher and unable to meet during normal business hours; people consistently went out of their way to meet with me on my schedule. The level and detail of communication was also fantastic. The ability to do all of the paperwork online made my moving process quick and efficient. Things seemed wonderful at first. After they handed me the keys, the pleasantries stopped. When you meet with Ashlie to show you the apartment, that's the last you'll see her or speak to her. The receptionist intercepts all calls. The management at Dave Poletti & Associates are pure negligent. Numerous complaints have been filed by many tenants about the drug activity going on in our apartment building near the University. Not only is the activity illegal, against Poletti's rental rules, but it also provides for a dangerous environment where no one feels safe. As long as they get the rent, they don't care. Every person that has moved out of our building has said Poletti has kept all or most of their deposit with a list of bogus charges. This makes it very hard for us struggling students to just move and lose $1000. Notice that the high ratings on most of the websites are vendors that work for Poletti, property owners, or just BS that have been put on her by Poletti & Associates staff. (you can tell by the language in some of the reviews that they aren't written by REAL tenants) If you're looking for an apartment -- look somewhere else. You may think it's all nice and Poletti's staff are easy to work with in the beginning, but by the time you move out, it will be one of the worst experiences you've ever had. more

I love Dave Poletti & Associates. Alexandra has been great, and the whole process of renting has been really easy. Paying rent is easy because you can pay online. Everything is really simple. It is our first time using Dave Poletti & Associates, and we have been with them for 7 months. It is much better than renting from an average landlord, because they take care of everything right away. more

While my main complaints are about the crappy unit I'm stuck in for a year at the Laurelhurst Apartments, my biggest complaint is about the leasing agent who rented it out to me. My viewing appointments had been double-booked by the agent, which meant that me and one other person were scheduled to look at the same units at the same time, even though she admitted that I had contacted her first. One unit was obviously not great, and the other one was clearly better. It was clear that both of us wanted the better unit, and her reaction was that it was ""first come, first serve"" and that whoever could get her a completed application first would be given the unit. She also said that the units in this building are rarely open and that they go fast, giving me an even bigger sense of urgency at being ""lucky enough"" to live here. Well, I've been here for a few months now and have noticed several vacancies here that have been open since I moved in. This is probably due to the fact that the building has paper thin walls and is just poorly constructed overall. I've had problems with the electricity, plumbing,the community laundry room, a stomping upstairs neighbor, a seriously creepy downstairs neighbor, and just a general unfriendly vibe. I HATE this place, and I never would have taken it if I hadn't felt pressured and like there wouldn't be any other units to take in case I didn't pick it RIGHT THEN. While the staff at Dave Poletti are very nice and pleasant to work with, their technique for getting rentals occupied is extremely shady. I'm counting down the months until I can get outta here. more

Throughout our process of finding an affordable apartment, my roommate and I kept our eyes on Theresa Apartments. Ashlee was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us an important tip that led us to having the apartment! Signing the lease was a quick and informative process and I felt like I was in trustworthy hands. Management is quick to inform us if something has occurred within the apartment and they respond quickly to our questions and concerns. However, we are still waiting on our shower head to be fixed so the pressure is no longer off balance. more

I just rented a great condo in the 2200 Live Azur building from Dave Poletti & Associates. I looked at everything out there and found my perfect home. They were very helpful. I asked to look at the condo three times just to be sure and Ashlie was great about it. She met me early morning as my work schedule would not allow me to see it during the day. The whole staff was very nice to deal with. I absolutely love the Whole Foods in the building especially. This complex has absolutely everything I need including a laundromat. I couldn’t be happier.
