The parts department in the lower level of the store is outstanding and the people behind the service counter absolutely know their stuff.

I find that they have a great selection of hard to find parts and decent prices. I have a big problem with a 2 week no refund only store credit return policy. I think a refund opt...

Datavisions the best 10/1/2010

I'm datavision customer for 12 years, Buying from PC. Notebooks ,Audio Video equipemeent. All I can say is that I'm very pleased with customer service, equipements. I get more what any other store can provide on helping shoosing the product that fit my projects. the product are very compettive prices and high ends that its hard to get on known big chaine electronics stores. Even if the store that not carry the particular item, they ordered and call me to come pick up. Other electronics chaine should take Datavision as example on how to handle and create and mange good customer relation. I feel I have all firends over there.? more

Great Customer Service 9/21/2010

Came into the store on a Saturday, was hectic as any store in NYC would be, but i still received great service. I came in to purchase a Mac computer which I did and at a GREAT price, and also ended up buying a few accessories and as well as an Ipod. This store has everything one would need for the house or for travel.I highly reccommend this store for any electronic purchase as well as great prices.? more

excellent location and knowlegeable staff 9/1/2010

I needed to get my niece a pc laptop for her upcoming college studies. When i walked into datavision i was perplexed by all the different manufacturers and models. After speaking with Joey the manager- he walked me through the process - for what she will be needing. Instead of getting a pc with all the bells and whistles , he showed me some basic computers that will do everything that she needs. It wound up saving me a lot of $ and cut through the - cloud- saving me quite a bit of time. He let me know- if there are any issues or problems i can rely on him for his help. after the purchase, i walked out feeling very comfortable and and at ease with this confusing issue. nice to see staff that cares about customer satisfaction....thanks datavision....? more

walked in was met by a goodmorning greeting and directed to a sales person who was polite with plenty of patients and infomation on todays digital cameras no hard sell i will tell all my friends keep up the good work? more

It was great for me 8/4/2010

I bought a SONY H20 camera in the 5th Ave store and the customer service was great. They honored the online price which was lower than the store price which i was very happy about. They changed the online price soon after however. The service people including the security guard were really pleasant. Great shopping experience overall? more

THERES ALWAYS GREAT AND HELPFUL STAFF ALL AROUND THE STORE WILLING TO ASSIST AND GIVE ADVICE. I LOVE THIS STORE FROM THE WELCOMING AT THE DOOR TO THE HAVE A NICE DAY AT THE REGISTERS. IVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS AT THIS STORE, AND WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP THERE FOR MY EVERY ELECTRONIC NEEDS. I DEFFINITLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE. I LOVE IT . more

Great Store - True NYC Institution 8/2/2010

I think this store is great and have been shopping there for years. The prices are better than their chain competitors and the staff is knowledgeable about their products. You can usually find geekier gadgets than you would in a BestBuy. I also do not feel like I am one of the many customers as I often do in the chain stores. This store is NYC based and I am glad to patron the store. I hope they remain for another 20 years.? more

Excellent Service 7/27/2010

I recently went to Datavision to buy a new computer. I went in without any knowledge of what I wanted to buy. The Sales person took his time to explain all the different varieties of computers and to get something that will work with me. I couldn't take the computer home so the next day they shipped the computer for me. I highly recommend Datavision as they were very patient with me and knowledge of there products.? more

I have been visiting Data Vision for at least 10 years. I have always been treated with friendliness and integrity. The products I bought worked well for me and the help/advice from the employees was concise and accurate. Prices were always competitive and service was easy. There are a number of people that I have come to know but Robert and Joey (the managers) are excellent and the other employees follow their lead.? more

Great Customer Service 7/23/2010

I ordered a Toshiba battery. The battery arrived quickly and as described. Unfortunately, it was the wrong battery. When I called customer service, they informed me how to return the battery. My money was refunded within ten days of the return. I will continue to order computer software and hardware.? more

Excellent Service 7/21/2010

I've been shopping at Datavision for several years now and just recently bought myself a camera. I was approached by welcoming sales that assisted me right away. They guided me to the camera section which had an immense selection of all kinds. As a ametuer photographer, I knew a decent amount about cameras and was looking for something exremely particular. He knew specs of the point and shoots off the top of his head. He knew exactly which cameras used which lens to even the base F-Stops and to the max ISO settings on each. The price was lower than I've seen at most places on top. As I went to check out, I browsed the notebooks like I usually do. The sales there provided me with extensive details but weren't pushy when I told them I wasn't ready to buy yet. While I was checking out, the store manager Joey even asked how my purchase experience was and told me if I had any problems to see him personally. Datavision is definitely a full service store and one of the most professional in the business. more

A welcoming oasis 7/19/2010

My friends and i have been dealing with data vision, especially joey & robert, for about ten years. I have never had anything but a good experience there. They have the right products at competitive prices and are open long hours daily to serve the public at a very accessible location. There is a repair center on site that gets the job done. If any problem arises, joey is happy to resolve it quickly and easily. more

I have nothing but positive things to say. Datavision is a "one-stop-shop" with huge inventory where one can shop "old school"... touch, feel and ask questions of a knowledgeable goup, or shop online. The customer service is excellent. I recommend them highly!? more

Great Gift 7/12/2010

I did not experience any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. I called ahead, got the answer I was looking for, went in, and got the service that I wanted with no hassle or wasted time. The salesman that was very helpful was Joey Swade. He was great. He helped me pick out a great gift for my son's birthday. My son love's his new laptop. Thanks again Joey.? more

Large assortment of technology 7/9/2010

I was scheduled to go out of town in a week and found a great laptop with all the bells and whistles from Datavision! Once the item was ordered, it arrived in a few short days. I was very pleased with the prompt and timely delivery. The laptop arrived in time, so I was able to travel with my purchase and use it on my business trip. I also thought the price was very good! Since I had a great experience with the company, I will order my sons laptops for college. I will also recommend Datavision to others who are looking for great service, prompt delivery, fair pricing, and merchandise in excellent conditions. Thnx DataVision!!!!? more
