I needed a gun transferred to my local gun shop in the lower 48 before making an extended road-trip home in the South for Winter. The owner said he was shipping the gun out the next day after I left it in his care, paying his transfer fee to ship with appropriate amount of insurance. All seemed fine until I returned home almost a month later and discovered my local gun shop had yet to receive the gun. After a couple phone calls and waiting weeks, he finally admitted that there had been some kind of mix-up after he had gotten sick shortly after I dropped my gun off. The person he put in charge of shipping out transfers had missed my gun in the office, and it was left there in a box and "lost". Needless to say, I was disappointed and thought the gun was gone for good before it turned up again in his office. Once it was discovered the owner quickly apologized for the error and provided a tracking number asap after finally shipping my gun. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it was an honest mistake(the gun arrived in the exact condition I left it in with no signs of tampering) and the owner did everything he could to make it right by paying for all shipping costs, and mailing a hand-written apology and full refund of his transfer fees. Never once was he rude or gruff over the phone and he was very professional in his response to the mistake made.
