My daughter and I had to plan a wedding in few days for May. I came in your shop on Tuesday, March 18th to see what you had to offer before bringing my daughter back on Wednesday, March 19th. She tried on several gowns and found two that she loved. Malorie was wonderful. We really needed something off the rack and couldn't take the chance on ordering the gown we liked. So we didn't buy anything from you because my daughter was looking for a more non traditional gown and ultimately found something off the rack in the department store. I have been to other bridal shops (and bought my eldest daughters gown from one a few years ago). I found your staff at your shop friendly and helpful on both visits. I got married last september and Dar-Lynns was hands down the best bridal shop in the area. I had been shopping at other stores but nothing compares to the prices or selection at Dar-Lynns. The bridal experience here is totally different than that of David's Bridal. You feel like you are part of the Dar-Lynns family as soon as you walk in. I ended up getting my gown, tuxes, and bridesmaids all from Dar-Lynns. They worked with out of town bridesmaids and groomsmen and made the whole process easy. Every bride should start and end at Dar-Lynns..they have all you need! more

I got my prom dress from Dar-Lynn's this year. I was asked with only 2 weeks till prom and the consultant that helped me stayed almost an hour after closing for me to try on dresses. I'm not the typically girly-girl so most prom dresses did fit my personality. The last dress she pulled for me was absolutely perfect. I had it altered through their shop and everything turned out great. They also helped my date with tux rentals. Our colors looked awesome and the pictures turned out perfect. more

I loved my experience at Dar-Lynn's Bridal! As soon as I walked in there was someone there to greet me. My bridal consultant stayed with me every step of the way and when I told her my style and price point, lets just say I was on a strict budget, she knew just what to pull for me. I was allowed to browse through but the dresses she brought to me in the dressing room were better than what I had pulled for myself. She helped me to choose my dream wedding gown when I only had a little time to shop. I am very appreciative to the time she took with me especially because I wasn't a top dollar bride. That meant a lot. I would recommend shopping at Dar-Lynn's to anybody looking for a wedding gown. more

I recently got engaged and started and ended my search for the perfect wedding dress at Dar-lynn's Bridal! The staff made me feel so welcome and were very attentive to what I wanted in a dress! The prices were amazing and the service could not have been better! After choosing the perfect gown they then suggested that I move on to other things such as bridesmaids and tuxedo rentals! This store surely is a one stop shop! Having out of town bridesmaids was no problem for this great group of ladies! They took the measurements by phone went over sizing and made this whole experience easy and painless! Wonderful Experience! From the moment I walked into Dar-Lynn's Bridal, I felt like the staff truly wanted me to find the dress of my dreams! I had a clear style I wanted in my mind, and my consultant, Pam, pulled numerous dresses that fit my wants. However, after trying on all the dresses I had thought I would like, I still had not found the one. Don't get me wrong, the dresses were all beautiful, but I had not had ""that moment"". Pam saw I was getting discouraged, and refused to let me settle for a dress that wasn't perfect for me. She suggested I try on something that was a little different than what I had wanted, but that she thought would look perfect on me. As soon as I put on the Maggie dress she had chosen, I knew it was the one! Without Pam, I would have never even tried it and missed out on my dream wedding gown! Pam was so helpful and knowledgeable about wedding gowns! She knew what dress would look great on my body type and fit my personality, but she also let me try on every other style I wanted. Of course, I purchased my gown from Dar-Lynn's that very day, and ended up outfitting my entire wedding party there! Between ordering bridesmaids dresses, tuxes, flower girls etc., I had the oppurtunity to work with almost every other member of the Dar-Lynn's staff, and they were all just as helpful and kind! The staff here is excellent! I took my daughter in to look for Prom dresses in April. We had a wonderful experience. A lot to pick from. The staff is kind, listened to her in what style she preferred, pulled dresses, assisted her in trying them on, & lacing her up. She felt so special & left with the Prom dress of her dreams! ~ Will most definitely go back next year and one day for her wedding dress. ~ Thanks for making this experience a pleasant one. I had been all over NC looking at Bridal Stores and dresses. I had multiple bad experiences with Bridal Stores that wouldn't allow pictures of the dresses and half-heartedly tied up the dresses. A bride can't see what the dress actually would look like if the consultant is not helping make it beautiful. I went on the spur of the moment and called in an appointment for the New Years Eve just to take a look. The helpful staff immediately greeted me and my future Mother-In-Law and started trying to get an idea of the styles and types I was looking for. I had multiple dresses and options to put on and because of the helpful opinions and wonderful attitudes about helping me find my perfect gown, I left with the dress of my dreams. This was the best experience I have had. I went to David's Bridal to try on a dress that I thought I wanted but I tried it on and it looked terrible and then the sales woman tried to convince me otherwise and pressured me to open a credit card. Something in me felt all wrong about the whole situation. more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Nasty women who care nothing about you or your prom. They just want your money. The dress we ordered over 9 weeks early but didn't come in until 9 days before prom. They were rude to us for calling and checking up on it. I demanded our money back but they gave us a hard time. A week before prom we bought a new dress SOMEWHERE ELSE. more

On a rainy afternoon, with no appointment, I took my daughter Mandy and her maid of honor into DarLynn's to "just look" at some of the dresses. We had already been to another Bridal Shop and had scheduled appointments at some other shops. I immediately cancelled those appointments! Within minutes, Mandy had told the girls at the shop what type of dress she had in mind and they had pulled a bunch for her to try on. Along with the dresses Mandy had requested, the girls suggested she try on this other one too. The gown they brought for Mandy to try on was very different from what she had thought she wanted. The moment she tried it on, she welled up with tears and we all knew it was the one! It was perfect! Not one alteration needed! That is truly a professional, knowing what gowns are right for each bride. From the gown to the shoes to the head piece, my Mother of the Bride dress and the tuxedos, everything was exceptional. I went to Dar-Lynn's Bridal after three horrible experiences at competing Charlotte bridal boutiques. I was immediately impressed with the friendly and knowledgable staff, the large selection of bridal gowns, and how relaxed and at ease I felt. My experience at Dar-Lynn's was positive and enjoyable. The staff makes you feel comfortable, allowing "you" to select and choose the gowns you'd like to try on. All of which are neatly organized in rooms by designer, so it's easy to find what you're looking for, or what you never knew you were looking for! The staff doesn't make you feel rushed or in a hurry, instead they treat you as if they have nothing better to do than watch you go from one gown to the next in anticipation of finding the right one! My entire experience at Dar-Lynn's...from the moment I stepped through the door, was wonderful. I bought my dress, they measured me (accurately), ordered my dress, fitted and altered it, and had it pressed and ready to wear for my 10.02.10 wedding! My dress was gorgeous, fit perfectly and made me feel like a movie star! Everything was perfect. more

I have been to Darlynns a few times, sometimes just looking and sometimes a serious buyer, however I was never treated as a paying customer. Every time I walked in I immediantly felt as if I was an annoyance to the employees. I never came in just before they closed or anything but they acted angry with me because I wanted to try dresses on. Aside from my own personal view of the people, the boutique is crowded and unkempt. There are dresses to the roof and not in good way. The dressing rooms are less than private and the mirrors are situated in a awkward spot. If you are looking for the bridal experience this is not the place to go. more

I got married July 2009 and as soon as I walked in to Dar-Lynns I knew I wanted to find my dress there. I was greated with friendly faces, although you have a consultant, the entire staff works together to help you find your perfect dress. Not only did I get me dress there but I also got my veil, headpiece, bridesmaids dresses, mothers dress, and tuxes there also! All of my bridemaids loved the dresses and said they were the best priced dresses of any wedding they had been in. The quality of everything is top notch! My husband also got his tuxes there and they were very helpful in getting all of the groomsmen information that were from out of town. I loved every minute I spent planning my wedding in Dar-Lynns! We went on what would be a busy Saturday for staff, got there early was greeted at door with friendly staff, that listened to what we were looking for. My 12 year old daughter would need a gown in June for an event she'd won for dance. We were shown the size gowns and left to browse without someone over our shoulder, every little bit a sales person would check on or progress and any gowns we'd decided on took to room for us to try on, after many attempts with a full figured 12 year old and our different veiws and price ranges the very nice sales lady had one in mind, she went an pulled a gown we'd passed over as too plain, but the dress on her was everything we'd wanted age approperate, full ball gown skirt, nice fit with out the reveling aspects most gowns had, but no sparkle, we left..but the more we both thought about gown, and how the sales people had treated us like normal people not just large unforunate people, we drove all the way back same day and got gown. the staff was just more

I called in regarding pricing of a dress, they refused to price the dress over the phone and said I would have to come in, which means they are probably far too expensive. Being that I live in Rock Hill, driving around store-to-store just is not convenient. Check with The Wedding Mall - first, they actually gave a quote over the phone and, second, we're the best price within a 25 mile radius, the next closest one was still $10 more. I went to Dar-Lynn's to shop for a wedding gown recently. I found that they had a very wide selection of the designer I was interested in. I was assigned to a VERY nice and helpful sales associate. She was not pushy at all, and was very "hands off" so that we could look around in peace, yet would come check to make sure we were finding everything OK from time to time. When I was ready to try on my gowns, she would help me in and out of them, yet was not intrusive at all. I found the prices to be good - I figured the same gowns would be a lot lower online but really they were about the same (for that designer anyway, I didn't compare other designers' prices). It helps to go on a week DAY instead of weekends, when they are usually busy. Oh and the owner is not too friendly, my friend recognized her voice because she had called in the past to ask some questions, and said she was borderline rude on the phone (we even heard her speaking rudely to a customer on the phone while we were there - she was short with the person on the phone and said "we are extremely busy right now" (we were the only people in the store!!)). So, while the girls on the floor are friendly and helpful, upper management isn't too much... but I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a gown by a designer they carry. On the day I picked out my gown, Christa was wonderful, I had her undivided attention and she really got to know my style and personality. Everytime I've had to interact with them since, has been dreadful! They are always rushing around, acting like they have too much to do and not enough help. On more than one occassion, I had to sit and wait for over 20 mins for anyone to even acknowledge me and say "We'll be with you shortly." (And they never really look that busy...) When my dress came in, they accused my mom of not having paid for it... and she had the cancelled check in hand as proof. Before the dresses for my bridesmaids were ordered, they accused one of my bridesmaids of not having paid for her dress, and she had the bank statement showing the withdraw from Dar Lynns. For giving some place $2500 worth of business, I'm very disappointed with the incompetence and disorganization of their s more
