Good intentions, poor troubleshooting 2/21/2018

Went in with an intermittent misfire, came out $1200 poorer and a worse running car. Found that during one of the repairs that didn't solve the problem that they have swapped 2 plug wires. They were also suggesting more work that didn't match the intermittent problem. While I felt they had good intentions, they just weren't that good at actually finding the problem. Vincent's Auto found the swapped wire problem and then found the cause and fixed the misfire for less than $300 and under 3 days. more

Good Service 10/16/2013

We were driving through town when our car was overheated, it was early in the morning and Dan's wasn't open yet but a mechanic was arriving. He opened early for us, diagnosed the problem (bad thermostat), and had us on the road in about an hour. Needless to say it was the thermostat and haven't had issues since. The charge was about $85. more
