Danny Smith came out reviewed my yard with me and went over his services and pricing. He seemed to understand what I wanted, I found him knowledgeable and helpful and his fees were reasonable. His crew came out and quickly put my yard in order. They came back on a bi-weekly schedule and the yard continued to look great. When it came time for the fall clean up, the crew supervisor checked in with me as they worked so I had control of the services and costs. No surprises and now he?s coming to do my windows. I am happy to know that I can also call him for help if it snows. I am looking forward to having his crew back on a regular basis in the spring. Danny, it has been nice working with you. more

Not Reliable 4/23/2011

Scheduled an appt with Danny at 11am on a recent Saturday for an estimate for Spring yard cleanup and lawn and yard maintenance. He did not show and two hours later I left for an appt and put a note on my front door letting him know there was no need to contact me again because I was looking for someone reliable. He left a message on my home phone around 1:15pm and stated ""I got sidetracked, sorry."" Not someone I would hire it that is how he presents himself to a potential new customer. more

Great Service and Knowledgeable Staff 9/12/2010

I contacted Danny for a price to mow my yard, he came out and explained all of the services that he provides and how he would care for my yard. After talking for a while I found that he is very knowledgeable. I ended up hiring him, he comes out every week and mowes my yard, at a very reasonable price. Danny as well as the crew that comes out and mowes my yard are courteous and dependable. Danny provides great service and his crew is very particular in their work. If you are looking for a landscaper that can handle all of your lawn care needs you need to call Danny! more

I hired Danny's team last week to mow my lawn, remove 7+ years of old leaves, fertilize my lawn, and remove branches from a storm. HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB. It took him about 3-4 hours to get it done. I'm so pleased that I'm going to hire him to come out bimonthly to maintain my lawn. I've been told by him that he services Durham, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest and Raleigh. He handles both small and big jobs. He's a strong worker and I'm glad to have him as my lawncare specialist... Great leaf removal experience 12/23/2009

Danny was a very personable guy to work with, as were the two gentlemen who removed the leaves. They were friendly and very prompt, hard-working, and thorough. Does not fulfill his promise or contract. 9/11/2008

Set up a contract with him. He came and performed one lawn service and charged me for it. Never came back again and never let me know why. My calls and emails went unanswered. I definitely would not recommend someone who drops you without any notice. more

Keeps his word and gets the job done! 2/28/2008

Danny has been maintaining our rental property while we are in Washington DC. During this time he calls us to give updates on how the yard is looking and always thinks to let us know the next maintenance items we may need. His thoughtfulness has kept our property looking great and our tenants happy. Honest Guy Great Service 1/25/2008

Danny cleaned up my yard and did a great job. He did what he said he would in a timely manner.Scrammy if you have a problem get in touch with the guy.It costs money to run a business insurance,equipment, taxes, etc. Do you expect him to do it for free?I didn't feel like it was too much I can enjoy my yard now. We have used Danny's lawn care for 3 years now and have had him do all types of jobs around our house. He always surpasses expectations and is fast, friendly, hardworking and does the job for reasonable rates. I recommend him for anyone who needs their lawns done right. Honest company that's not satisfied till job done RIGHT! 11/17/2007

We have been customers for just under a year and are quite happy with Danny's work. With demanding careers, we have little time for our lawn and in the past would go weeks before tending the lawn in the Spring (ugh!). We now rely on Danny's proactive maintanance to keep from upsetting our neighbors. He has proven to be honest, hard-working and is never satisfied till the job is done RIGHT. Price-wise, he was about mid-range from the quotes we received, but if quality is a factor for you, don't hesitate. more
