I love to eat at Dan'l Boone Inn. My husband and I live almost 2 hours away and I will drive there just to eat and come straight home. They serve family style home cooked meals that melt the palate. We have been going to eat here for years. We go throughout the year for scenery along the way and have a blast at the resturant with friends and family. more

food was very good, served family style.The wait was long. We should have worn coats. We will eat there again. A little pricey if you have a picky eater. more

I always have a great time when going to the Dan'L Boone Inn. They have great food and good atmosphere. It's fun to go whether you are local or visiting. I would recommend. more

The Best Place to Eat in Boone! 9/12/2008

Dan'l Boone Inn serves food "family style" all you can eat brought to your table. They have a breakfast menu featuring the usual southern favorites like scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, red eye gravy, and of course biscuits and awesome black cherry jelly. The lunch and dinner menu features fried chicken, salisbury steak, ham biscuits, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, among other sides, with an appetizer soup or salad, depending on the season. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours on weekend during the tourist season. Definitely worth the wait!!! more

  • Dan'l Boone Inn is a casual dining joint serving a range of home-cooked meals to residents of Boone County. The restaurant s family style meals begin with a salad in the summer and soup in the winter. The restaurant also serves family-style breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant is located in Boone, N.C. and serves fried chicken, cut corns, biscuits, desserts, soups and beverages. It also offers its guests scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, biscuits and cinnamon breads for breakfast.
