I visited the Creperie in Downtown Sacramento on the Kstreet promenade. I have honestly not ever eaten french food because the eateries in the Sanfrancisco area are little bit on the pretentious side. This one is not like that at all. The large windows that encourage people watching drew me to the corner bistro like restaurant. When you walk inside you smell the smell of fresh butter croissant and rich coffee brewing. The attendant seated me quickly and seemed to genuinely care that I chose to eat there. As an African American male, sometimes restaurants do not fair well in this department. I cant pronounce or rember how to spell the crepe I ordered, but it was a chicken, spinach, mushroom almond master piece, folded into a perfect square served piping hot. I ordered the brunch special which included a real croissant, juice or fruit, coffee and your choice of any crepe on the menu. The price was fantastic too (less that 15.00) and I left full and satisfied. I will be back tomorrow if they are open on Christmas day- if not, I'll weather the gift returning mobs on Friday to get one more taste of France before returing to the Bay Area
