Our family is going on our 17th year at Dancescape. This studio prepares students for life through excellent instruction in classical dance. The instructors are members of Dance Masters of America and have been home to numerous title holders of DMA. Many studios only prepare students for drill team dance. Wow!! Seriously cannot even believe that I just read the previous review about the studio that all three of my children have considered their second home for over 20 years. I am a parent of three dancers and like so many other dance parents from Dancescape, I feel lucky that we stumbled upon Dancescape as a learning center for dance before going anywhere else. The instructors at the facility are trained instructors with many years of experience. If you are looking for a place to have your child learn strong ballet skills as well as other genres of dance, I would highly recommend Dancescape. more

Unfortunately since we have to give a rating, which I feel they do not deserve a rating period. This facility is awful. The student instructors, Hannah Tang and Madison Medina are terrible teachers. Hannah on several occasions spoke out in the halls of how horrible students are, telling the children they she was going to steal their shoes. Madison, does not like kids, which was stated several times by the owners. Not once did the owners say anything to these 2 girls. The owner's mother would also play a part in the misbehavior that the 2 student instructors. To the point that several kids left, due to the 2 girls. I would not recommend sending your children here, unless you want them berated and treated horrible. more

Dancescape by Joyce offers classes in ballet and point, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap. They also offer martial arts and ballroom dance. This studio provides a strong foundation for any dancer. The instructors are sure to warm up their dancers as to avoid injury to anyone. The classes are grouped by beginning, intermediate, and advanced and give each student the opportunity to dance as a group as well as show their individual ability. The instructors are very talented and seem to care a great deal about their students. This studio has a big performance every two years. In the off years, they have a production for Christmas and an end of- year-show. These performances are covered in the recital fee or dance package and are free to all your friends and relatives. Competition is also available. Your dancer can choose to do a solo, duo, or small group and compete against other studios in the area. It is fun and exciting and gives the dancer the opportunity to be on stage in front of judges. It builds confidence and poise, and the awards are always fun to get. Competition is voluntary and the cost is extra. more
