Last Friday night was the first time I?d ever been to a social dance party at Dance Fever Studio in Newton. It was actually a double date with my roommate and her fianc?, and his friend and me. What a blast! I had some dance lessons as a child, but it?s been years since I even saw ballroom dancing except on Dancing with the Stars on television. We got a dance lesson and spent the whole evening on the dance floor, smiling from ear to ear. We?ve already made plans to go back again next week! more

Best dance lessons in Dance Studio Boston 2/28/2012

My son has played baseball since he was 5, and his older sister has always taken dance lessons. This year he asked if he could check out ballroom dance lessons, and I have to admit I kind of worried his friends might tease him about it. Funny thing, though. He told me a couple of his buddies told him they were jealous he is hanging out with a lot of pretty girls, and they want to take ballroom lessons too! Kids always surprise you. more

Great place to learn dancing 7/14/2009

My 10 year old daughter has been at Dance Fever for the past couple years, and I can?t say enough good things. She?s never danced before she started here, but she?s been loving it. I have to say her confidence has improved tremendously, she?s found new friends, and a new passion. She?s been having so much fun that my husband and I have even started taking lessons this summer! Love this place! 4/20/2009

Love this dance studio. My fiancee and I took some wedding dance lessons here, and our teacher was so warm and encouraging! We did this for fun, sort of expecting to do something goofy and laugh at ourselves, but we actually really learned some great dance moves! It seems like the atmosphere is just always buzzing with energy here. Definitely recommend checking this place out for ballroom, latin, wedding dances, whatever! Pros: Open all the time, so convenient and welcoming! more

Ballet, jazz, and tap since I was 3? Not me 1/9/2009

As someone with no formal dance training growing up, I never thought that I could really learn to dance as an adult. I was always curious about ballroom though (come on, who doesn't wish they could move like those dancing with the stars pros?), and this studio has really made me feel great about learning to dance. There are students here of all ages, and of all levels. I've taken lessons here for a couple years now (both private lessons and group lessons), and everyone has been so encouraging (and taught me so much)! There are some serious competitive dancers here, but tons of people doing it just for fun too. Pros: Tons of parking, conveniently located if you're driving more
