You won't find a better place to learn how to dance. The teachers are all friendly and know how to teach. They are also great dancers. Their Park Slope studio is 3 blocks from my job. I like that too. more

Their new studio is great 3/27/2012

I've been going to the Ave J studio for awhile. they recently opened a studio on 20th St in Park Slope - much bigger and beautiful! (and closer to me!) My teacher , forgot her name, was very good and sooo nice. Will be going to their party on Sat! Dancefever Studios is awesome more

In love with DFS 3/20/2012

I am having the time of my life here! I came just to try something new and was only going to do a cycle, which are two months. Well I'm coming here now five months. I'm officially addicted to dance. I feel like am learning something and that I can actually move. The teachers here are great. Martha taught me beginners salsa. She is so patient and funny. I always had a great time. And now I'm in her per-intermediate salsa, and I'm still having a great time and learning so much more. I also love the Latin cardio on Tuesday's. Noelia is a great teacher. And my God this girl is a great dance. She can really move and her energy is out of this world. I look forward to going dancing and seeing everyone at dance fever. more

Best Dance Studio in Brooklyn!!!!! 10/19/2011

I love this studio. It's great to finally have a dance studio close to me. The teachers here are great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the prices are low and very affordable. Also the hours are very convenient for people such as myself. Unlike other dance studio's, they always mix up the music selection. You won't hear the same music in every class. The studio is very clean and neatly kept and the class sizes are not too big they are just perfect. It's a great place if you are looking to learn dance comfortably. Also its perfect place for many different styles of dance classes and level of ability. You can learn different styles of dancing such as ballroom dancing, Argentine Tango, salsa, swing, and many more!!!! Also if you looking for beginner classes where they actually teach you at your own pace or if you are shy and want to take private lessons which are great too, then this is definitely the place for you. I recommend anyone to try here if you are looking to learn while having fun, you won't be disappointed. more

I actually look forward to dancing!! 9/26/2007

Don't tell my wife, but I'm actually enjoying our weekly dance lessons! I went along with her at first to keep peace, Now, I see I'm pretty good at this & look forward to going. The teacher is great and the other dancers I've been with are nice, no one stuck up or nasty. Good job Dance fever Studios! Pros: doesn't cost alot! more

NEW, CLEAN, NICE BROOKLYN DANCE STUDIO 8/30/2007

We took Ballroom Lessons here over the summer. My husband did really good(I was surprised) I loved it(I knew I would) We got the basics down pretty good. The guy teaching was nice & patient. Pros: Not expensive at all Cons: none i can think of more

Nice Dance Studio 7/1/2007

I came with a friend & was planning to just watch & keep her company. I ended up taking the class also. It was fun & easy to learn. We are taking Salsa classes. Francis & Jessamine are good teachers. We also went to the party they had at the end of the month. That was alot of fun too. Pros: Fun & you learn a lot more

Nice Place to Learn How To Dance! 5/25/2007

Classes start the first week of every month. You can sign up for the group lessons, monthly or if you want you can take private lessons. Studio isn't huge, so it's a friendly, fun atmosphere. All the staff are nice & helpful. It's a fun place to spend an evening and it's great exercise! (Especially with summer coming!) I've learned a lot since taking lessons at Dance Fever Studios. Pros: Many Styles of Dance to Choose From Cons: None I can think of more

Best Dance Studio in Brooklyn 5/7/2007

Dance Fever is very inviting and all the staff are very friendly and experienced. There are all skill levels of dancers in the classes, so it's the perfect place for any dancer. The prices are reasonable and Dance Fever doesn't require long-term commitments. I'm a decent dancer, but after taking a month of salsa classes at Dance Fever, I've gotten a LOT better and now I feel comfortable going out in public and showing off my moves. Tons of fun! 5/3/2007

The second I walked into Dance Fever I loved it. It's beautifully decorated and feels very comfortable. The classes are a lot of fun and a great way to meet people as you are always switching partners. The teachers are fun and friendly and give very clear instruction. Once a month there is a a social/party which is tons of fun with dancing and food. It's also great exercise, by the end I had all those little aches and pains of a fun and productive work out! Great place if you are looking to learn to dance or just find an alternative to going to the gym or working out at home! Pros: Very clean and friendly place, very good instruction, a lot of fun, easy location! more

Great Place to Spend an Evening 5/1/2007

I'm learning how to dance at Dancefever Studios. It's easy to get to by bus and it's not very expensive. The teachers are very friendly and helpful and dance really well! I started out with just Salsa, but now also take Hustle lessons. I'm glad it opened in the neighborhood. Pros: New! Floors are great, teachers wonderful, prices affordable. Lots of Fun! My wife and I loved it. 4/30/2007

My wife and I took private lessons with Francis and he was wonderful! We were nervous for my in-laws 30th wedding anniversary and we didn't want to disappoint them when it came to the Ballroom dance theme. My in-laws are in love with dancing with the stars and now, my wife and I are just as good. Pros: Private Lessons more
