I have very mixed feelings about the school. Ms. Christy, the director, is wonderful; unfortunately she rarely teaches. Some of the other teachers are great, some are incompetent (especially for the younger kids). One in particular is passive aggressive and a bit of a bully; fine for competitions and older kids, awful for those under age 7. 5 years olds shouldn't be made to feel bad because they don't want their ears pierced to match an instructor's ""vision"" for the group picture. Perhaps the teacher doesn't understand how deeply kids take that kind of criticism in their need for approval from authority. This one teacher made my daughter want to discontinue dance entirely and she used to love it. Be WARY of who your teachers are. Also, the recitals are spectacular and a great experience, but a few of the costumes are, well, slutty... especially for the younger kids. I think some of the more status-oriented teachers need better understanding as to what is an isn't right for young children. more

Dimensions is a wonderful place to do dance. I myself was a student there a few years back and loved every minute of it. I now take my daughter there. The Staff is very welcoming and respectful. I have seen nothing but major improvements in my child, as well as the studio itself. I love the instructors and would highly reccomend it to anyone who wants an upbeat and fun environment to dance. It is a GREAT place for children of any age as well as adults!! more

Most Unimpressive Studio in the Country 5/19/2012

You'll only ever feel like a number at this studio. I've been dancing my whole life and have never felt so unwelcome. The studio only seems to value money. They don't value the people they're teaching (or their students families). When a problem is brought to their attention you'll get an apology and nothing more. They don't give any effort to set things right or compensate for a mistake. You're only there as a dollar sign! They take, take, take, and don't give you a thing in return. more

Great Place for Your Kids! 2/23/2011

This is such a good place! Seriously people. It is so sad that out of the hundreds of VERY HAPPY parents at this studio, none are talking here about it. (It's always the negative people that shout the loudest.) My kids have been going here for years and we've always been happy. The school is always trying to improve themselves, they are constantly adding value, and when there are valid issues, THEY TAKE CARE OF IT. It's simple: if you want a professional, clean, and quality atmosphere, send your kids here. more

BEWARE!!!!! 8/30/2008

Some of the music instructors her are fine, but some are completely unqualified to teach!!!! My kid had to take lessons with a weirdo that had obviously never heard of bathing, and it was quite clear to me (as I have had my share of music lessons) that he had no idea what he was doing. Plus, the lessons here cost quite a bit more than regular private lessons, and I'm not sure why. Overall, we were really disappointed in the quality of the experience. Pros: Nice building Cons: Bad music instruction more
