Great job on Tight Garage Ceiling 4/4/2015

A bit late but want to say Andrew did a great job installing new garage doors in a tight space since the garage is under the house and, therefore, the ceiling is low for a garage. New doors also nice and snug and kept a lot of cold air out of the garage and house this past long, cold winter. No hesitation here to recommend Danbury Overhead Door and Jeanne and Andrew. more

Top level professional service from true master of his craft 1/5/2015

I have used Danbury Overhead door many times over the past 10 years for multiple homes I have owned, and referred to family and the results have always been outstanding. It is apparent within minutes of watching Andrew Potter work that he is a perfectionist and the top garage door installer and recourse of knowledge in the area. His attention to detail and professionalism in my opinion are unmatched in the industy. Additionally, in an environment where it is widely known that the "construction industry" as a whole is sloppy, unorganized, misquoted, and can produce poor work- Andrew and Danbury Overhead Door are the exception, and raise the bar! more

I could not be more pleased with my new glass garage door. 1/3/2015

Andrew came to the house, offered several suggestions for replacing my garage door and we settled on one. It required painting and he offered to paint it for me before installation. I waited a reasonable amount of time and Andrew himself came and installed the door. It looks fantastic and functions perfectly. Neighbors I have never met are coming over to compliment me on the door. Everyplace I go I show the pictures of the door and tell them it was installed by Danbury Overhead. I highly recommend Andrew and his company. He is a true artist and, more importantly, a gentleman with integrity and character. more

I ordered a new garage door from Overhead Door of Danbury. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and professional and helped me pick out a great door. The installer came when scheduled and did a fantastic job of putting in my new door, I am extremely pleased with Overhead Door of Danbury. more

Andrew not only did a great job guiding us through garage door selection but the installation was seemless and 6 months later when there was a squeak in the door he repaired that and the doors are silent again! more

Unprofessional and Dishonest! 9/12/2014

Came to my residence for a minor repair; I decided to do an expensive repair; was quoted a price for both doors, including the initial call, of $600. Asked for my credit card number, which I gave- WHAT A MISTAKE! Never showed up at the agreed to day/time; never called. When I tried to call I always got voicemail; my calls were never returned. They charged $300 to my credit card. I will issue complaints with the Danbury Chamber of Commerce, State of CT Dept of Consumer Affairs, and my credit card company. more

Unreliable service 12/16/2013

On 3 different occasions I was given a window of time for Danbury Overhead Door to come service my broken Garage door. On all three occasions they did not show up. The first time, someone called after the fact to say the truck broke down, the second time I called and was told they did not have me in their schedule, but they gave me a time, and I had them on my schedule. The third time no-one showed up and to date I have not had a call from them,so I don't know what the excuse will be this time. A very disappointing way to try to do business! more

Unreliable, Undependable, Unprofessional 8/28/2013

This company came highly recommended. Unfortunately they showed their true colors with me. I made 4 yes 4 appointments with them. They were coming either Wed. Thurs. or Fri Never called never came. When I did call to see what happened they blamed it on a new computer system and that they had LOTS of emergencies and I "fell off the radar" I made another appointment and they showed up 2 hrs outside the window. Never called. When I called to voice my dissatisfaction I never heard from them WOULD YOU LET THIS COMPANY FIX OR INSTALL YOUR DOORS? THINK TWICE. more
