Amazing - Kind, competent and calming 10/7/2011

I am a kidney transplant recipient and unfortunatly had complications that might result in a re-transplant. Dr. Damani along with one of the kidney surgeons from CMC in Charlotte actually spared me that surgery. Not only was he competent and very patient, he was kind and extremely calming. No matter how nervous or concerned I was, he had a knack for telling me the truth, explaining exactly what was going on and yet helped me to remain positive. He could have taken the easy way out and just agreed to re-transplanted, but instead he gave it 100% . Today is the 1st year anniversary of my transplant and he is one of the doctors I really need to thank. There is no better surgeon or doctor. more

Best Doctor I've ever seen 10/8/2006

Dr. Manish Damani has got to be the most caring, understanding and skilled surgeon I've ever seen. He gave my wife and me more than adequate information about my prostate cancer and the choices we could make. He gave us the information and totally left the decision up to us. He gave his advice and allowed us to ask questions. He spent over an hour with us talking about the surgery and the after affects.\r \r He is a good man and a caring person. I could not have asked for a better surgeon.\r Pros: Caring, personal involvement Cons: None that I can think of more

Dr. Damani is amazingly caring and understanding 4/19/2006

Dr. Damani was not only efficient and informed, but extremely understanding about the ramifications of his diagnosis and his treatment. He performed surgery on my husband, extracting tissue that the laboratory tech described as ""an amazing job."" When other professionals tell you (unsolicited) what a fabulous surgeon you are working with, I consider that a compliment. I nearly dropped my teeth the first time he called us personally to answer a question or schedule a procedure. I wish my own doctors were as attentive.
