My wife and I have been bringing our 2 rescue dogs and 2 cats to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital for years. Not only are the caring and available, but they are open minded to the care of our four legged children. The compassion that is shown from the ladies at the front desk, to the techs, and the doctors exceeds our expectations on every visit. Our lab will need surgery in the immediate future and Dr. Gaines took the time to explain exactly what would occur and when to expect a call from them with an update. They truly put you at ease. The office is clinically clean at all times and they have always been able to work us into their busy schedule. We wouldn't take our dogs or cats anywhere else. Keep up the good work! more

The best care for our pets! 2/6/2015

My wife and I have 2 cats and 2 dogs that we have been bringing to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital for the past 5 years. The service begins at the front desk. The ladies (and Boss-Man) make you feel welcome and they always have a smile on their faces. The waiting area is always neat and clean. The assistants are super friendly with our animals each and every time we bring them in. The doctors are also very caring, understanding, and truly listen to your needs/wants. Getting an appointment is simple, they have even squeezed us in last minute on numerous occasions. We always feel very comfortable bringing our pets to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital, as we know they are getting superb care. more

Our new puppy had a very bad case of worms. DHAH's friendly and professional staff was able to treat our puppy right away. The facility is very clean and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped through their door. Bossman was also glad to see us too! We have used Dr. Justin Toth at the Dallas Highway Animal Hospital for our vet for about 10 years. He took care of our Brittany Spaniel, Abbey, until she died of cancer at age 13 in Ocotber of 2010. Losing a pet is never easy, but Dr. Toth and his staff offered excellent care and compassion throughout Abbey's illness and death. When we rescued another Brittany, Lady, in February of 2012, we did not even consider taking her to any other veterinary practice. Dr. Toth and his staff now offer the same excellent medical care for Lady that they did for Abbey. Lady has had some serious skin issues and Dr. Toth has been right on top of the situation. He is a compassionate and caring doctor who is just the best! Also of importance is how clean the facility is and how professional the staff is. We have complete trust in Dr. Toth, Dr. Chase, and the staff. There are just no negatives! more

Calm and Patient 3/21/2012

Our Dalmation, Wilson, suffers with seasonal allergies and is a challenge to examine. Dr. Chase and the Vet Tech were so patient with Wilson. They got down on his level to examine him, held him firmly, but gently. Dr. Chase was very thorough, asking lots of questions about his medical history. We will be glad to have Dr. Chase treat our other two dogs. more

Wonderful Vet and Staff 1/16/2012

We have been going to DHAH for 10 years and the entire staff has been wonderful! We had two kitties they cared for until 2005. Now we have Bailey, our Shih Tzu, and we love how compassionate and caring everyone there has been to us and our animals. They all truly care about every animal (and owner) that comes in, and are highly recommended. more

Exceptional Vet! 1/9/2012

The service and hospitality are exceptional! We moved to Atlanta a few months ago and our dog needed surgery right after we got here. We called several vets to request information. Dr. Toth returned our call within an hour and spent at least 25 minutes listening to our dog's symptoms and patiently and thoroughly explaining what could potentially be wrong with our dog and our options. At our first appointment, he assessed our dog and told us our options and explained each procedure. He made us feel very comfortable and had visuals to show us exactly what he would be doing. To get our dog right in, Dr. Toth worked through his lunch. Our dog had surgery on a Wednesday and Saturday evening we had a few concerns. We emailed Dr. Toth around 3pm and he called us at 8pm. It was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. We were extremely impressed and grateful! Dr. Toth makes frequent follow-up phone calls. He truly cares about the animals he cares for. We are so happy to have found him! more

All-around great animal hospital 12/27/2011

We have a 7 year old long-haired Chihuahua named Gabe. They do a wonderful job with his yearly check-ups. It is thorough and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone (and I have, several times)!! more

A The BEST vets and staff we have ever come across!!!! 12/8/2011

Our 10 month old boxer-bull terrior mix was in dire straits when we brought him to Dallas Hwy Animal Hospital. He had already had surgery at another vet clinic for a foreign object removal from his intestine. The lack of post-op care given to him at this other vet clinic was inexcusable. Our pup was on death's door. Dallas Hwy Animal Hospital was recommended to us from a friend. What a gift that recommendaton was!! From the minute I called, I could feel this was the place that could help our incredibly sick dog. Dr. Chase let us know that she would have to open him back up due to the septic fluid in his abdominal cavity. Both she and Dr. Toth literally saved our dog's life having to separate adhered, infected intestine from the dog's other organs (an obviously long and painstaking process). The staff at DHAH are awesome as well. They exude compassion and kindness from the first call I made to the day we were able to bring our puppy home! While this site only allows 5 stars, if I could really rate them what I think they are worth, I'd give them a million! The best animal hospital we have ever had! Wish they worked on people too!!! more

The Doctor is IN!!!! 12/5/2011

Had a sick kitty over the weekend. Our vet did not make it to work and neither did the back-up. Went by DHAH and they were able to squeeze us in. The Doctor and nurse were both thorough and caring and the receptionists were awesome too!.. In no time kitty was back to normal. more

Such a Pleasant Experience 11/16/2011

Dr. Chase was great with our dog, took time to talk with us and go over things and actually answer our questions, didn't make us feel rushed. Anytime I call the office with a question, no matter how small the staff is so friendly and willing to help any way they can. It's so refreshing and makes you really happy to take your pet there. So glad we chose this Vet for our puppy! more

Dr. Toth is brilliant! 10/11/2011

Dr. Toth and his staff have provided the finest care to my pet's for close to ten years now. West Cobb is extremely fortunate to have a vet clinic of this caliber! Having been involved with many animal rescue/veterinarians all over the metro Atlanta area I was dumbfounded to happen upon the sheer brilliance of Dr.Toth way out here in Powder Springs. He has been a Godsend to all of my animals but especially to my dog Beau. He was diagnosed has having the most aggressive form of sarcoma and given six months to live but Dr.Toth removed the tumor and totally eradicated it without even treating him with chemo. Two years later Beau's prognosis was even more dismal having been told he had bone cancer and a month to live. Dr.Toth painstakingly operated on Beau and again the cancer never returned. Beau died at the ripe old age of 14 years thanks to him. Dr.Toth's medical training and surgical skills are absolute genious. I am forever indebted to him and his most thoughtful staff. They are wonderful!!! more

Vet you can Trust 10/1/2011

My Siberian Husky has been seeing Dr. Toth since she was a puppy starting back in 2000. She is now almost 12 years old and is in Awesome Health. I owe a lot of that to Dr. Toth and his staff. Dr. Toth is an excellent veterinarian and always takes the time to answer all of my questions. I would never take Nakita any where else. Very caring and compassionate. I have never had a bad experience at Dallas HAH. I highly recommend Dallas Highway Animal Hospital. more

have 5 cats, 1 cat needs alot of medical attention, Dr. Toth, has been so good to me and my cat. He has called several times to check with me to see how my cat is doing. My other family members have been seeing Dr. Toth since 2001. Dr Toth is best vet I've ever had, caring and compasionate, along with the staff, they know the sound of my voice when I call. Words cannot explain how happy I am with Dr. Toth. more

Fantastic Vets 8/8/2011

I have been using Dr Toth for almost 6 years since I moved to the Atlanta area. I have not seen a more compassionate, caring and understanding vet in my life. He took care of my minature poodle and helped extend his life an extra 4 years. When the time came that I had to euthanize him, the caring and love this man showed is beyond words. He has helped me with the grieving process and he is taking fantastic care of my other pet, a schnauzer. The staff is fantastic and always friendly. His office is always clean. Dr. Chase is also a kind and caring vet. Anyone that doesn't use this vet is losing a fantastic opportunity. more

When your pets are your kids, you want the best! 7/28/2011

We saved this stray about 4 months ago and she was a mess; not fixed, ticks, worms, etc. Dr. Toth and Dr. Chase took outstanding care of our newest addition to our family. They took the time to listen, showed compassion, and now have loyal customers. We have now brought our 2 cats for routine care to DHAH. The girls at the front desk are always very friendly and great with our ""kids"". Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. more

Best Animal Hospital in Town 7/28/2011

The staff is very helpful and understanding. We have taken all 4 of our dogs to DHAH. Dr. Toth is wonderful and actually helped one of our dogs who was suffering with heart failure, he extended her life time while keeping her as comfortable and alert as possible. He is very knowledgeable and any time i have had emergency situations I have been able to take our babies right in with in minutes of calling the office to be seen by a doctor. We have also seen Dr. Chase in emergency situations and she has always been very nice and knowledgeable and able to give a peace of mind ! Over all this is the best vet office in the area and I would not take my babies anywhere else ! more
