Tracey is the best 2/1/2011

I found Tracey online while searching for a salon that does perms and read all her great reviews. I was impressed and could not believe there was not one bad review about her. After getting my perm I realized why everyone keeps going back to her. She is honest and treats hair like it is her top priority. I was happy with my result and now that I met her I know that anyone that is not satisfied with Tracey is just weird. hahaha. One complaint: Her salon is too far from my apartment. haha more

She Fixes $8 Haircuts 12/17/2010

Tracey has cut my hair for about four years. I have never had a bad hair cut and never felt rushed. Getting a haircut with her is relaxing and fun. She will put you at ease, help you find the look that is yours and will take the worry out of the experience. She's also one of the coolest people I have ever met. more

A cut above the rest! 9/19/2010

Tracey has been the only person to cut my hair -- or my son's for over 20 years! Years ago, when looking for a new stylist, I got lucky and ended up in Tracey's chair. I was thoroughly pleased with my cut -- and my son's first hair cut! Since then, we've followed her to at least three other locations. I can't imagine going to anyone else! The current shop is wonderful and is hers alone! It's private and relaxed. She is a skilled stylist and really fun to be around. Try her once, and you'll be hooked! more

No more salon hopping! 9/8/2010

I've tried a lot of salons in Dallas but now I've finally found my hairdo home! Tracey listens, discusses, and gives me exactly what I want. Plus, she's fun and her one-woman shop is mellow (I hate loud, busy salons--they stress me out). Tracey does my cut and color and I love how my hair looks and get tons of compliments. No more salon hopping! more

Worlds greatest hairdresser 7/8/2010

I have been going to Traci for my entire life. I have never once had a bad haircut. Every time she has cut it, it has looked fantastic. One can compare they way she cuts and styles hair to, to the way Michelangelo sculpts. Tell her what you want your hair to look like and it will look like it. It has actually gotten to the point where I just tell her to do whatever she thinks is best and I give zero input. It always ALWAYS looks awesome. She is also friendly and if you want to talk she will listen. I have recommended her to other people and they have been just as pleased as I am. Tracey gave my son his first haircut nineteen years ago and I have been going to her ever since. Tell her what you want and that is what you will get. Never going anywhere else 6/18/2010

I've been going since I saw the hilarious ""I fix $8 haircuts"" sign in the window. At the time, I had a really bad $10 haircut. That was six or seven years ago. I've recommended Tracey to numerous people, all of whom are now long time customers as well. Dallas Hair Company is soooooooooo much better than any other salon I've ever used. Dallas Hair Company has it down. More relaxing than any spa, one on one treatment without distractions, and of course the best damn haircut. 24 years ago, after receiving another terrible haicut in one of those chain shops, I drove by a sign in a beauty shop window that said: I FIX $8 HAIRCUTS. I was lopsided and looking awful. I needed a fix and went inside. I asked about the sign and Tracey said have a seat. She asked how I wanted my hair to look and I never said another word. She fixed my hair and in those 24 years my hair has been cut by a person other than Tracey once, when I was out of town and needed a cut for business reasons. She is always on time and a great person to talk to while you are in her chair. If you want a great cut every time ......go to Tracey. more

Awesome Experience! 5/11/2010

I finally discovered a small shop with the perfect attitude, skill, and sensitivity. I was tired of stylists who had only one look in their bag of tricks - plus wanted me to pay dearly for the privilege of letting them do my hair. Get real! I simply said, ""Tracey, you can see it better than I can. Do what you think is best."" And it has worked out great. She made some suggestions at our first visit, and the result has been gratifying. I am now involved in a long-term style program with her that I am sure will pay dividends now and in the future. I highly recommend you check this one out. You'll not be disappointed. Best Hair Cut In Dallas 5/9/2010

Miss Newman is a Barberist. She is one of the best stylists in Dallas but she's also as cool as the coolest barber in Dallas as well. When i first moved to Dallas i got my first haircut down on Elm street and then by luck I found Dallas Hair Company and she was able to fix the Elm street cut. I've been her customer ever since and that was 8 years ago. If you want a pleasant experience and a great haircut by the one of the coolest women in Dallas then this is your place. My Wife was Right! 5/8/2010

My wife started seeing Tracey about a year before me a suggested I give her a try. For a change I listened and it's worked out really well. Her shop is wonderful and spacious. She really zeros in on what's happening with your hair and keeps a running history on what you look like when you show up. I always leave with a very nice cut and some great conversations. I've been going to Tracey for 20 years. I've had many hairstyles, many lenghts and many colors over the years and I've NEVER been unhappy with any of it. Tracey is not only one of the most FUN people I know, but SHE KNOWS HAIR!! She makes you feel like you are her only customer. She takes her time with you whether it is your 1st visit or your 1,000th visit with her. She really listens to what you want and she knows what will and will not work with YOUR hair. She will help you make a decision about what to do with your hair if you ask her, but she never tries to force anything on you... neither product, choice of color, perm or no perm, or choice of cut. She does exactly what you ask her to do unless it would be harmful to your hair. She will readily tell you that....even if it takes money out of her pocket. She is genuinely interested in your being a happy customer. I wouldn't trade her for the WORLD!!! I have turned many a friend onto Tracey and no one has ever been disappointed!!! Looking for the best hair styling 4/28/2010

To be honest I've been going to Dallas Hair Co. For over 9 years now. All I can say is that she's the best, she attentive, reliable and professional. Tracy is someone I trust my head to. She gives the best shampoo and will give you the time of day. She a talker if you need her or she'll let you fall asleep (like it happens to me so often) when I go there it's my forget about work place. She's attentive and she doesn't try to get rid of you. She will give you the full hour and make sure you're happy before you leave. I strongly recommend her. You won't regret the visit, give her a shot, she's the best in town. Friendly, consistent service 3/31/2010

Tracey gets to know what you want and remembers. I tried her because she's a small business owner who has a track record. I was tired of losing stylists because they quit where they worked and I couldn't find them. She's easy to work with and it's not too trendy a place. Also, very reasonably priced. I'm locked in.
