Nice place for steaks...soft,tender and delicious. I have been here a couple of times for lunch which has been great too. The perfect icing on the cake is their patio seating.

Worst

Unfortunately, we chose to try out Dallas Chop House on New Years. Our waiter was rude, so much so I thought to complain shortly after we were seated, but it got worse from there....

Outstanding Food and Service 6/1/2011

Outstanding Food and Service…..the steak was cooked to perfection. IT was amazingly tender and so flavorful. The creamed spinach and the green onion mashed potatoes were perfect as sides. Impressive wine list too. Will be back sooner than you think. more

Great steakhouse 6/1/2011

Great steakhouse so well located right on Main Street with valet parking so no worries about finding parking in downtown. I had the filet and the Steak fries and enjoyed every morsel. My friend had the lamb chops which were also delicious. We would be coming back definitely. more

Excellent Steakhouse…If you know what good steak is you won’t be disappointed here! I have dined here a couple of times and have never had a bad meal. Service was spot on too. I would highly recommend this to family and friends. more

I was at the Dallas Chop House for Lunch and it was Great. I started with the crab cakes and then had the Filet and it was Phenomenal. The service was also Great. The patio dining looked interesting…next time! more

We have eaten at the Dallas Chop House twice earlier and each time the experience has been Wonderful. The food is Superb and the service excellent. Also love their Wine Selection! Can’t ask for a better steakhouse! more

Rib Eye Steak Highlight of the evening! 5/9/2011

We started with the crab cakes and they were excellent as always. The Rib Eye steak was prepared perfectly …so juicy and tender. I am already craving for some more! A memorable meal , will definitely recommend to friends. more

Exceeded my expectations 5/4/2011

After having read great reviews of the Dallas Chop House I decided to go and try it out myself and let me assure you I was not disappointed to the least bit. In fact this place exceeded my expectations. I thought it was a perfect place for special occasions and a romantic dinner. The atmosphere at the bar was great. We had a couple of drinks here before moving on for dinner. The server was nice and friendly(sorry don't recall his name). He suggested the perfect wine for our meal. For dinner, he ensured that the food was well timed so we didn't have to wait between courses and also we never had an empty glass. Even though they were busy, it did not effect the service that we got. The food was great too especially the Popovers. I would definitely recommend this place so you can also have a first hand experience. more

I’ve been to many Steakhouses in Dallas but I have to admit I find this the best so far! I’ve been here earlier as well and the food has been excellent and consistent. Knowing me it won’t be long before I’ll be back again. more

What a wonderful Steakhouse!! Conveniently located with a lovely patio and nice ambiance. The steaks were nice and tender and full of flavor. Also loved the Popovers!! The server was attentive and courteous. Would be back for sure. more

Wonderful Evening!! 4/22/2011

My wife made a reservation at the Dallas Chop House on my birthday as she knows I love steaks and it was a good choice. The server was very friendly and attentive. He served the entire meal in a very timely and efficient manner. We started with the oysters which were served with a beautiful cocktail sauce and citron vodka mignonette. They were Delicious! Then I had the New York Strip and my wife had the Lamb Chops and they were both Excellent. They also served us a complimentary dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening. more

well timed service 4/14/2011

The weather was just perfect to go out and enjoy steaks and that too in the wonderful patio at the Dallas chop house was too good to be true. Loved the patio, we had the crab cakes which were topped with a creamy tomato sauce. Then had the dry aged rib eye which was amazing (flavorful and tender). The service was perfectly timed too. I would definitely return. more

Great Meal! 4/13/2011

I was in the vicinity and was looking to try out some new place when I spotted the Dallas Chop House. Walking in … I had a feeling I was going to love this place and so it was. It had a great ambiance. The menu was appealing with some great steak options. I went all out for the New York strip and Boy was I stuffed?? It was a perfect, most satisfying steak that I’ve ever had. I would be back soon as next time I want to try the Rib Eye! more

My first visit to the Dallas Chop House was Awesome. Not only was the food excellent but so was the atmosphere, service and drinks. They suggested some great wines to go with our meal. We had a great memorable evening and will surely return. more

Attractions!! 4/6/2011

Two things that attract me to the Dallas Chop House are the beautiful Patio and their outstanding steaks. The favorites of the evening were Rib Eye and Filet which were perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The Chilean sea bass was also great. Thank you for an enjoyable evening more
