I love this place. It is a small place with the kids from the neighborhood workin there. It has a bar and some tables for sitting, and if you have nott eaten here yet, keep in mind that Dalessandro's has won "cheesesteak of the year" from some company many many times. Definately worth the drive out to Roxborough guys. more

The Best Cheesesteak in Philadelphia! 9/15/2005

I don't know what makes this steak the best in Philly; maybe it's the great roll, the tender meat cooked to perfection, or the good quality cheese that it's topped with. Maybe it's a combination of everything put together. Gino's and Pat's Steaks pale in comparison to Dalessandro's. Definately worth the trip to Roxborough! more
