Dale and Associates, Inc are the best overall Planners and Engineers in Nashville. I had a piece of land that needed to be rezoned and designed, I was told by others that it could not be done. Dale and Assocociates took me through the entire process by first having community meetings to get the support of the neighbors and then they got the support of the Planning Commission and the Metro Council. Their final design was cost effective for me, created value, and gave something back to the community thru a dedicated park and open space. Dale and Associates knows how to work with people and get positive results that benefit everyone. Pros: Gets Things Done Other Can Not,Honest, Open Door Policy, Great In Community Meetings more

Dale and Associates Not Recommended For Neighbors 5/9/2007

Dale and Associates is not recommended -- if you want to get your project done right and have neighborhoods on your side. They do not ""work well with others"" . Dale, a former council person comes out ""arrogant"", talking down to community, Dale has designed ""flawed and tilted sidewalks"" and excused it saying ""Metro let's unapproved sidewalks go in all the time. So, we did it too."" Dale designed flawed storm water systems into neighborhoods. When asked why? Dale blamed the developer: ""We designed it right but the developer did not follow our design."" Then he admit the flaw was his ""Correcting our design flaw would be worse than leaving it."" I recommend you trying a neighborhood friendly developer who talks straight talk to the community. Can get even the most difficult properties rezoned to the best use. Has a great reltionship with Metro and other approval gencies more
