I frequent this place with my friend more often than I can remember. Sometimes we do take-out when we do not want to wait in line. Seven dollars for an overflowing box of seafood noodles is a deal to me. The wait is kind of difficult sometimes because there is a very small indoor waiting area and even there people coming in and out would make the wait very cold. The place does close pretty late, so there is no need to worry about it closing before you get a chance to eat. For my annual post-Thanksgiving dinner, my friend and I went there and ordered 70-80 dollars worth of food (we were hungry) and the food came out fast and good. more

Daimo Chinese Restaurant 9/8/2005

Daimo is located near Ranch 99 market. It's actually in the same shopping center so they have plenty of parking spaces. The food here is very good and the prices are not bad either. It's a pretty big restaurant and the tables seem a little too close together for me.The lighting is pretty bright which I think should be a little lower to make it more dramatic instead of feeling like your eating at an Asian market. Good food, good price, and the service/staff is ok and smiles all the time. more

Authentic Chinese Cuisine 9/8/2005

Daimo, conviently located adjacent to the Pacific East Mall in Richmond is a popular place for Chinese Food lovers. With fresh seafood and great noodles with reasonable prices, Daimo is bustling with business and closes well past 1 am due to its popularity. Many go for traditional Chinese dinners or for their Won Ton Noodle soup. All their food is freshly prepared and is my favorite Chinese restaurant outside of Oakland and San Francisco Chinatowns. Highly recommended! more

Fine chinese food 8/5/2005

Daimo Chinese Restaurant serves very good authentic chinese food. The food is great, although a bit pricey. They have an extensive menu, and offer a variety of exotic dishes. They do offer fairly cheap meals for lunches. Service is pretty good, and it gets busy for dinners. It is usually full during weekends. and parking could be a problem during those times. more
