I was with DABCO for about three years. When I arrived to move into my apartment I was surprised to see someone was already living at the address that they had put on my lease. They had leased the same apartment to two people. I received no apologies from their rude staff or reimbursement for the expenses (e.g. new driver license etc) that incurred as a result of their mistake. For six months I had to wait for text from the nice tenant at the wrong address to go pick up my mails. During the first year, I received a ‘pet violation notice’ (subject to a $500.00 administrative fee and possible eviction), however, I didn’t own a pet. I brought up their error and offered them the opportunity to see the apartment. They responded by rudely insisting that their staff had seen a dog, implying that I was lying, and warned me about its consequences. After a stressful week and talking to management they dropped their absurd accusation. Interestingly enough, in the same building, at least three of my neighbors had cats & dogs and one of them had their dog sitting on the porch all day long every day and they were in the apartment for at least two years. Three months ago I moved out of the apartment, ensuring that it was clean, and returned my keys. I have yet to receive my deposit check or receipts for the charges they applied to the deposit. I have sent them many emails in the last 4 weeks letting them know I don’t have my deposit check. The only response I have received so far is “here’s the proof that we sent you your check, go talk to USPS!” Based on the copy of the letter DABCO emailed; they have kept 60% of my deposit for the repair and cleaning expenses of an apartment that I returned cleaner than the day I received it. I've lived in DABCO for almost 2 years now and I would not change that decision if I could go back. The staff has been very courteous and friendly. Parking is something to be desired, as the spots near my apartment building is always full. I just extended my lease until May '15 and plan on staying until I graduate. Thanks DABCO. more

Very nice until you move out....Don't expect to get any of your deposit back as they will find ways to charge you for things until you owe more money or there is none of your deposit left. Expect you to literally clean your apartment with a toothbrush, ridiculous! more

I'm living in apt from Dabco management property which Lower Pine Ridge. This apt complex has on-sight laundry room and lots of parking spots. Actually apt surrounded beautiful hills and it has nice view. Also there is no extra charge for maintenance. Their appliance is better than any other apt. more

This is my third year here, and DABCO has provided great services including fixing things in a timely manner. They however rarely shovel the snow from the side walks. Overall, I have been satisfied though. more

I moved into a Providence Court Apt in June 2011. During the summer it is extremely quiet. All of the management has been extremely friendly and helpful. Every time we have a question or issue they take care of it as soon as they can. Some neighbors are louder than others, but that is the case everywhere I have lived. A friend of mine who lived in Emerald Downs had neighbors who were causing problems and DABCO addressed the issue very quickly. more

I have lived in two different DABCO apartments, and both times they were really great to live with. Everyone was really nice at the front desks and everything seemed fair with our deposits. Only problem was in the parking lots. Too big of speed bumps at Aspen Village and not enough parking at Birch Hills. more
