Da Noi Restaurant on Victory Blvd

I have lived in Staten Island over 20 years. I'm a black man i have been to many restaurants in Staten Island and all over the city.. i went to this restaurant Da Noi for the first time last Saturday afternoon. i have never felt more racism in NYC in my 30 years of life. first i was never seated Intel i asked the people to seats us. After i was seated i didn't see a waiter or menu for 45 min. I had to ask a bus boy for a menu, people that was seated after i was served eat and payed before i saw a menu. i am not a cheep man me and my date ordered over $120.00 for two people. Great food, excellent quality, friendly wait staff and personal service from management. pesto sauce is yummy, grilled calamari mixed with baby greens and tomatoes are sooooo good - and enough as a meal!! this is a little bite of new york city in staten island. The food is outragous. the service is excellenct. Feels like a bistro in little italy. best resturant in staten island. Try the zuppa pesce. its pricey but what do you expect to pay for a 5 star resturant more

The food was simply delicious. I loved it so much I took my out of town friends when they visited me last week. We all enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to dine here last evening,the food is to die for. The service is the best. I had dinner with my son in law and my daughter who has ms.We arrived at 7PM for our reservations and were greeted by a friendly valet parking attendent. He helped with the wheel chair and we were seated immediately. My daughter only eats vegetables and since there were no indication on the menu that there were any vegetarian entres we were a little concerned. When we asked the waiter he said it would be no problem,the chef would make up something special. Well! what a job he did, the platter looked like something out of a magazine photo.We were thrilled. If you are looking for great food and service that can not be beat this is the place. As far as price goes the food and service is so good that it should not even be a consideration. We love it here...the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great...Perfect for a romantic dinner or a night with our friends..Service is top of the line...prices are so-so..wish it was cheaper we'd go more!! So worth the money though!! more

Da Noi,manages to romance your palate as well as your heart. It is impossible not to feel at home here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, lavishly wrapping you in cherry wood and soft cream colors. The perfectly appointed bar, is always complimented by a knowledgeable, friendly, and often comedic mixoligist ; the wine list covers all tastes. I have to say the Espresso Martinis are the best I've ever had! Each dish is sure to be passed around the table. Every time I visit I hear the other patrons simply gushing, and ranting, how even the simplest dishes, i.e. linguini vongole are ""flawless"". You will dine, you will laugh, you'll most likely fall in love with not only the food but also the warmth of the staff, who handle with equal aplomb the socialites and the common, bringing both together and making new friends all over a great dinner. I went here with my family for my cousin's birthday. There were about 10 of us. We ordered a few appetizers and all had dinner and dessert. At the end of our meal, along with dessert the waiter brought out a glass of dessert wine for each of us at the table for free. I thought that this place was amazing~! Pros: service, food more

The food at this restaurant is excellent, however the service is absolutely some of the worst I've ever experienced. I visited for my birthday, and went for a ""romantic"" dinner with my boyfriend. The waiter was spacey as we ordered, only broughht one of the two appetizers ordered, and then completely messed up our dinner order as well. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, he contradicted & said he brought what was ordered, which was not true! After arguing & explaining that this was a special occasion, he brought my boyfriend's proper order. No apology or any peace offering was made, and the server sulked in the corner the rest of the meal. Food was delicious, but the service was lousy. The food was wonderful and the price was right! i highly recommend the eggplant stuffed with ricotta and spinach as an appetizer. The atmosphere was pretty and dim, although it was a bit loud i had no problem tuning it out. The waiters were pleasent and not at all overbearing but were there the minute you needed something.
