I've always hated moving companies and moving days, but I had DSR Moving Co move my belongs to storage and they are the most professional, helpful and trusting movers I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. I even changed the date of the move from March to this past Saturday and they accomodated me. I highly recommend them and they are more reasonable than the other local movers. DSR Moving was terrific! The quote Dwight gave me over the phone AND in email was right on. They arrived on time and finished up our job in the time he said it would take. (They didn't stop moving for 4 hours!) They were very friendly and easy to work with. Their pricing is also considerably lower than all the competition we received quotes from. My husband and I moved from a 1900 square foot house in Durham to downtown Durham on 6/18/12. We selected DSR Moving because of their very reasonable moving rates ($95/hour) and stellar reviews. I highly recommend DSR Moving to anyone who is moving in the Triangle!! The two men that moved us were incredibly professional and efficient. They moved items both quickly and carefully. Every item in our house was moved without any damage. The final cost came out to $75 less than I was quoted - they are fair with their pricing and will not over-charge you for anything. DSR Moving completely exceeded my expectations! You will not regret using them for your move. more

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I HIRED A MOVING COMPANY. THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT...THEY ARRIVED BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. PRIOR TO THEM ARRIVING, I DROPPED MY DAUGHTER OFF TO THE SITTER, BY THE TIME I RETURNED HOME, THEY WERE JUST ABOUT DONE...WHICH WAS PRETTY SURPRISING B/C I THOUGHT I COULD PACK SOME MORE WHILE THEY WERE LOADING (LOL). SO...TALK ABOUT HONESTY....WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE NEW APARTMENT, THE OWNER CAME UP TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT THE COUCH GOT CAUGHT ON THE LOCKING HOOK WHILE THEY WERE MOVING IT OUT OF THE OLD APARTMENT. HE OFFERED TO GET THE COUCH FIXED, ""WE WILL DO WHATEVER WE HAVE TO DO""....SO, OF COURSE I'M THINKING, ""OMG""...ANYWAY, WHEN I SAW THE COUCH, IT WAS BARELY NOTICABLE, BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS NICE OF HIM TO BRING IT TO MY ATTENTION. \r THE COST WAS EFFICIENT, I ACTUALLY PAID LESS THAN THE QUOTE BECAUSE THEY WERE DONE PRIOR TO THE ESTIMATED TIME. \r I WOULD TOTALLY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.....ACTUALLY, I WILL USE THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE. I hired DSR on 3/9 to move from Raleigh to Cary. The two guys arrived on time at 7am, and immediately started loading their truck. They used padding for all the furniture and electronics that couldn’t be boxed, and were very careful. They didn’t stop working until everything was loaded on the truck, and were done in about two hours. \r \r They unloaded at my new apartment in a little over an hour, and presented the invoice that was exactly as quoted on the phone the week before. These guys are very professional, and honest; I would hire them again for sure! \r \r It’s such a relief when you receive good, honest service. I was really cautious about hiring a moving company, because of horror stories I’ve heard, but these guys de an AWESOME job!!\r more

The movers were very professional and courteous. They were very careful with our possessions. We are all pleased with the entire experience. The price that was given in the estimate was accurate. There were no surprises! I would definitely use this company again. more
