Eric takes a lot of time being attentive to what the client says she would like. I have seen Eric do very compilcated hair cuts that turned out just beautiful.....he is a master !! more

I've been going to Sweet Salon for around 5 years and would never go anywhere else. Erica Whitcomb is truely an artist with both color and cuts. The environment is comfortable and upbeat. Everyone seems to enjoy being there and are always professional and helpful. more

Every time I go in to get my hair done, I'm greeted with a smile and a very helpful and patient hairdresser. Eric does a wonderful job. I travel from El Cajon to Ocean Beach to get my hair done by Eric. I go in and ask him his opinion, leave it up to him and I leave happy. Thank you Eric. more

Thanks to the reviews! 12/22/2009

I looked up the prices and was kind of taken back. Going in I thought straight out 65 dollars and no wash or style. That seems to be the going rate here in SD. I've been away for a while. I read all the reviews and saw nothing bad and a whole lot of good. So I went for it...I got Jade. That guy was so cool and to just keep up with me in conversation earned my respect and he did a fantastic job. He did everything I wanted and more. I will be a returning customer for sure! more

Second trip in, just for a trim, and the color Eric did for me a few weeks ago still looks fantastic! I wish he could shampoo my hair every day because he gives the best scalp massage I've ever had. more

I went in with totally damaged over processed hair and she fixed me. She listened to what I wanted and created the perfect color. It shines and feels GREAT! I have had so many compliments and I just love it! She totally raised the bar for me. more

I just went to style my haircut for the first time since Jade cut it yesterday and I am so excited--it was totally easy and still looks awesome! I'm sure Jade is good with any length or style of hair but I can definitely recommend him for short hair. He rocks. more

ERIC, creative genius of Sweet Salon 12/4/2009

Eric, owner and gifted stylist at Sweet, has been my hair savior for the past eight years. He manages to transform my baby fine naughty hair into presentable locks allowing me to venture out in public. For this reason, I see Eric each week for hair discipline and every six weeks for cut and color. I can't praise him enough for his talent, creativity and friendship. My entire family are loyal customers. He is truly a gifted professional. Without reservation, I highly recommend him. more

Jade is an Artist 11/22/2009

Sweet Salon is the best salon I've ever visited. I live in Orange County and drive the hour and a half just to see Jade. I never have pictures or styles in mind, I put my hair in his hands and artistic genius. As a blond I felt I needed some color and depth to my cut for fall. His mixture of golds, browns and reds captured the look of Autumn trees. He takes his time and sculpts. He's amazing! more

Be Noticed for the right reason 11/15/2009

This is what a great hair cut or color can do for you. Weekly I have people stop to comment about my hair. I have been changing stylest for the past 25 years and have found most are not consistant in there color or cut. I am thrilled with Eric,,,,,,,,, you can be to more

Erica is the best! 11/6/2009

I have long, curly blonde hair which means maintenance is key. I got my hair done beginning of Sept by Erica and by my next appt. in Nov. you couldn't even tell that my roots had grown in! Of course, I went anyway because she does such an awesome job with my hair. She knows just what to do and can deal with my curls and length so well! Love Erica! more

Eric always does a great job cutting and coloring my hair. I get compliments all the time on the color. He cuts my hair so it's easy to blow dry it and make it look nice. more

First visit and Eric colored and styled my hair. It is absolutely the easiest style I have ever had. I barely know how to comb it let alone style it. Eric took care of that and I really just have to shake my head and go. Just wish there was some parking around there. more

Sweet Salon is worth Discovering! 10/28/2009

I have been seeing Eric for 18 years. He is a fabulous stylist and professional in his approach. The Salon has a harmonic flow that is evident with the individual stylist. Sweet Salon serves a variety of clientele from locals to long term clients like me that are willing to commute an extra 30 minutes. Sweet Salon is worth discovering for the hair cut, color and extra "Sweet" service. more
